I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

regardless of all slagging off..... the mystyic of the D3 is unravelling real time................
Mac has just proved that if you have the balls to give it a go , it is not rocket science, and you can fix it yourself......
Whether thats to save some money, or more so to get it fixed quicker than the bull dealer, thats another job that can be done. We will see if its a lasting repair...........its another feel good factor, as they are great cars when they are working as designed, and its only worth it if its affordable and reliable....................
well done MAC.............ps can you do a wiki?

Mines in at the dealers tomorrow thats all and there putting the new bracket on while it is in for some other work. I just suspect that the pump may be damaged as well? Just some advance thinking just in case.
You never know might just pop up to scot ang get Mac to sort it out!

Anything especially special about the latest version Nick?Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?
There was mention previously of a software update for the new compressors. Don't know if it had substance to it or not
It was me that mentioned the (EAS?) software update, because when Yeovil LR replaced my compressor last year (from the original 2005 compressor) they also told me thy updated the compressor control software. It looks like the new compressor will run fine with the previous software, but maybe they tweaked it to improve the life of the compressor?Previously:
