Transferred athe top n bottom screw and plates to the new Compressor, gave the bracket a little clean too.
Refit has been done in the Dark.......took your advice with a slightest smearing on the pipes into the Air Connectors (as the old ones were a git to remove).
Have'nt refitted the top and bottom covers cos I did'nt want the hassle tonight, but jumped into the D3 and see what was occuring.
Up she came.......Nice n even.........quicker than ever before.
The new compressor sounds much better than the old one, more even sound....
I WOULD NOT OF ACHEIVED THIS WITHOUT VALUABLE ADVICE FROM
firstly Geoff , gave up his spare time to help a friend in need
Wiggs , on the end of Geoff's mobile
TLO Parts guru and first class service
Pete Bell The assurance advice
TFC Always on the end of a phone
Buellbeast for the Email
Guys, feel humbled by the help and advice and really at times like these think this forum is in a class of its own, made up by members that will drop anything to help (even me )
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
PS - If anybody has a compressor failure local to me - Ring the above list

I got it off without removing tight fit but I needed it out the way to gain access to the top bolt. I'll squeeze it back into place somehow
The urgency was'nt to replacing everything, but just to get it running
