Have you received your Coopers and mounted the LTZ's on your D3?

wow I'm looking at the same setup, but I don't want the stormers, mainly because "everyone" else got them. Got a quote today on the "Overfinch" super 7 for £99 each + £150 in freight. They are ET45, so maybe I need spacers if im mounting 285/50 on them..
do you know if these have the same offset as the stormers?

no.
but the majority stormers used by forum members are not oem.
and each copy will have it's own [poss different] offset
also, dependant on tyre width will dictate what to expect re rubbing...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

ronp, that's the best looking tyre wheel combo I've seen on a D3. Can I just confirm, your using 285/50R20XL Cooper XLT's on OEM Stormers (53 offset) 20x9J's ? Most of the copy stormers I've seen use 50 offset - just wondering if that makes it a none starter on a 05MY?
Great look though - and yours really do fill the arches. 2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

ronp, the offset of your wheels looks even further out compared to the other stormer copies I've seen - looks better in my opinion. As mentioned above most copies I've seen are 50 offset, do you think yours are even more than this?16 D4 Landmark

Officially the OEM supercharger alloys (V spoke's) and OEM stormers (Ron's) have the same offset, but I had to put 3mm spacers on mine to run the 295/45/20 grabbers without fouling the suspension.
(Ron's are not OEM, but 53mm is the quoted OEM offset)57 RRS TDV8

Put my 19's back on for some bitumen trips I'm doing.
Got a bit of a shock - the 255 / 55 R19's look so small!

Much prefer the look of the Coopers :)

I've been looking at som Supersport Super7 "overfinch look" they have a offset of 45, but I was thinking the higher offset the wheels got, the further in under the wheel arch it gets and the lower offet, they will stand more out? A 45mm offset rim will be further out of the wheel arch, or is it the other way around.

Yep, see that the stormers stand further out, but there isn't 285 zeons on the super7's?
I'm going to have the coopers zeons, but I suppose i'm safer to go with the 275/45-20'on the super7's? what do you think? I'm thinking about rubbing.
