Would the 275/45/20s be ok on an 08MY? 110 load rating, which is consistent with the ratings on 09 MY and within 1% on rolling circumference. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

285/50 Ron same as yours I believe.
Definately not as firm as grabbers. There's a bit of 'give' when cornering but not pushed them yet to be fair.
I just need to get to frimley to have then check the balancing because they're not quite right.
I was thinking it might be due to the knobbles but then the mtr boys would probably suffer the same issue maybe?
Can't answer your question Al, I'm a techical numptie Welcome "Lola"

Your comparing an out n out road tyre with an AT tyre.
So there will be differences in handling characteristics.
Reckon what you're experiencing re the 'give' in cornering is the extra height of tread.
12mm versus 8.5mm of the grabber when both are new.
So if you've gone from part worn Grabbers to LTZ's, you'll def notice a difference in 'give'.
You'd even experience this [to an extent] in going from 'old' to 'new' with the same type/spec of tyre.
No Do$h on 20's - is ones plonker being pulled?
However, that size would pose no problems re rolling circumference.
As your's is one of the newer models, I couldn't comment on clearances. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

That's what I was assuming ron, lots more chunky bits to weave around.
The uhp's were good Tyres though, would have no issue in recommending them to anyone who wants a big old hoop on Welcome "Lola"

Maybe, maybe not. Just got an idea that's all I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

As soon as Neil starts to offer advice, I nip off at 90deg a bit sharpish I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
