Absolutely Gary, absolutely I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Finally got mine balanced correctly by The Master. Big thanks to Ken!!
Anyway.....mine rub the end of the front wishbones...only a fraction at full lock it appears.
So, double check yours guys just in case. Wouldn't want anyone to damage their tyre walls.Welcome "Lola"

Rubbing
No problem at all with mine!
Must be down to a different offset on the wheel.
From others I've seen, my Stormers appear to have a wider stance.
So that would keep the tyre out an away from the suspension....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Mine are on 18" wheels and don't catch anywhere. Didn't I read on here about a slight diference in the chassis on 06/7 model years that cause the tyres to catch ?? Only proplem I've got is slight wheel wobble around 55mph even after balancing them 3 times. Keep loosing balance weights as well mainly fronts, keep thinking about using stick on weights though I hate the things. I did read in LRO a few monthes back about a balancing liquid but carn't find that copy anymore. Its used on motor bikes I believe

I just don't get this tyre thing. They are black round rubber things yet we all get so excited about how they look and can't wait for a new model to come out. Why? Why? Why? It makes no sense. I too find it really interesting but there is no logic to it. The same goes for the exhaust note on motorbikes. Some are to die for and a few hyper cars have the same attraction, but FFS, it's exhaust gasses. I adore Ducati bike noises if they have the right pipes fitted. Am I alone in thinking it's a bit weird that we get so much pleasure from such basic things? I think this tyre looks fantastic on the Disco and want them on mine, but why? Makes no sense.

You really are a Mr Blobby aren't you!
Allow me to try an penetrate the 'marshmallow' if you will.
Firstly your tyres are the only contact point on the road between your and your loved ones backsides and that 3 ton monster D3 you drive.
So, you want the thing to keep in contact with the road at all times - yes?
Some of us also want to use our vehicles for what they were designed for ie Off Road.
A road tyre [whilst good] does not give best traction in that circumstance.
Conversely, a mud tyre [no matter how good] doesnt give you the handling charachteristics of a road tyre.
As oppossed to changing wheels and tyres every time you venture on/off road [which I was doing], the compromise is to fit an AT tyre and use all the time.
This gives you the best of both - one tyre for all circumstances.
Now, bear with me if you can Mr Blobby.
I run 20" wheels, go on & off road and there was no AT [or MT] tyre that would fit these wheels on the D3 in the UK.
So, I sourced these Cooper LTZ AT tyres from the US via the UK importer.
The post and pictures on this thread were to make other 20" wheel users know that this tyre was now soon to be available in the UK.
Now, add it all together and you'll see why there is a need for this thread, the discussions, the pictures and the information discussed on certain tyres.
After my response, they may still be 'big black round things' to you ....
but certainly not to me!

ronp - I am totally with you, read this topic as enthusiastically as everyone else and want those tyres on my disco. My point, although somewhat pointless, is just remarking on how weird it is that we get so excited about tyres. I thank you for even taking the time to reply.

I'm close to getting a set of these tyres for my D3 but wish to know if the standard "Plow" towbar will fit with the wider section profile of these tyres if I have one as a spare?2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

Maybe no one has fitted the standard towbar with one of these LTZ's as a spare!
