Del, you are absolutely right but just one quick look on facebook will show you the hatred in the air. There is a new group called 45 (the 45%) and the comments are just staggering. This reminds me of the glasgow of the 70s, not a nice place to beJoined the BMWX5 45e group

Eck was certainly a divisive figure.....he was either leading his "people" to the Promised Land,or tearing a Nation apart, depending on your position....
I personally felt there was a rather unpleasant undertone to his campaigning from the beginning....let's just say it felt a bit more "anti" something than "pro" something.
Down here we have mostly been spared some of the less savoury bits of the last few weeks.
To echo a couple of posts above, the Scots are a proud bunch......but more locally, Glasgow, which voted "yes",will take longer than most to heal...."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Yeah, they just interviewed a Glaswegian Yes voter on the radio who said they felt like the rest of Scotland had let them down. As expected, some people are gonna be a bit raw for quite a while.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

The group should not be called 45% they should be the 38%..... ie 45% of the 85% who voted - clearly those who didn't vote cannot be counted........
BUT whether they voted or not and, however they voted, they are still British and they are still UK citizens..

He should of had a "Plan B" any decent Plan B that he believed in could have made a difference.
Problem for him was that a Plan B did not/could not exist. End of story.

I also couldn't see past his "it's Scotland's pound" statement.
Made a mockery out of anything else he proposed....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Absolutely disgusted by these cretins disgracing Scotland with their behaviour in George Square Glasgow tonight. Glasgow voted YES get over it.....You have what you voted for.......Better Together has won the referendum....No need to disgrace the country with the yobbish, ned behaviour.
Anyone who thinks this is acceptable and condones the behaviour of these thugs needs to take a good look at themselves, seriously.

Sure this isn't the end of it. I think a number of people, myself included, expressed a fear for the aftermath. Not good at all.......
