Shame on him for voicing his beliefs and standing by his principles. Outrageous behaviour.Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

It's a shame that this subject is being blighted by personal remarks especially after Martin has previously asked for this to cease.
All Scottish independence \ referendum threads will be locked until at least an additional £115 has been donated to the cause

Did we honestly think hat with the result either way we were going to be friends again?? The Scottish are a proud nation, feelings run deep as has been seen in this thread.
It's going to take a long time for this to settle down and even longer for it to be forgottenHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Well Wee Eck has left the building........I know I am in the minority here but I really like the guy and I was sorry to see him resign. Love him or loathe him I think most will agree that whatever decisions he made he always had Scotland's best interests at heart. Not saying all his decisions were correct but they would have been made with the most honourable of intent.
Now it seems Nippy Nic may take the reigns.

To bring balance to things:
SWMBO was buying stuff in Grantoon co-op and two peeps there were "absolutely devastated" at the result, this was their world and the floor had fallen out from under their world.
To balance that:
Bumped into a chap in the carpark after walking the boyz who asked up what we thought of the result. I kind of hung back on a reply but he really wanted to say how happy and relieved he was at the result. Only going by what he said, he was terrified at the prospect of a yes vote and had been loosing sleep. He'd even thought about moving to Cumbria and had taken money out of the bank just in case. The sense of relief was tangible.
Good & bad on both sides but this needs put behind us and get on with normal life.

What's the definition of a Yorkshireman?
A Scot with all his generosity squeezed out of him
Brendan
PS. Home rule for Yorkshire anyone?

I am a Yes voter,
We walked Hadrians wall together, a bit iconic/ironic I would say.
