Now, what about the referendum all the good people of England are now entitled to?

How can I sit back and see my country destroyed even more by certain people given a platform here, as people have said, its over, time to move on and heal the damage Salmond and his cohorts caused. All the lies being spouted on here would be believed if it wasn't for people to question them, why is the thread still running?

Well why should I give you a platform to spout tosh about Apple and its products all day long? You can't have it both ways.
The thread is still running so people can debate. Not to try and win a thread closure in their favour 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

OK I'm off this thread for good, but I just wanted to say its wrong, very wrong to let people continue to spout verbose diatribe and cause divisions and ill feeling even after they have already helped cause mayhem and destruction.
I just don't understand why its not locked, if it had been my thread it would be in the shredder months ago

Couldn't agree more.
But do you want to keep the pound?
If not, what's your Plan-B.......
[Edit] Do I get a vote because I was born there? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

But people keep dragging this c p up and will not accept that it was a no vote, then expecting something major to happen within a couple of days and moaning because it hasn't.
It needs to stop and some constructive action happen, we cannot sit here thinking there will be another vote then another and so on until eventually they get a yes. And any comments about how it has been accepting needs to open their eyes, look on social media with all these petitions and postings deliberately trying to undermine democracy.
It is doing this country and the UK as a whole no good what so ever.Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Rather than moaning about a referendum that's past, perhaps we should begin by looking at whether or not we can agree that the current UK government model is suitable / fit for purpose / fair.
No?
What do you propose then?
Maybe the most sensible suggestion is totally devolved government to England, Wales, Scotland & N.I. with a small cabinet (located wherever is suitable) which deals with exclusively shared matters?
I think England as a country region (excluding London) gets a raw deal at the moment. Why should Scotland, Wales, N.I. & London enjoy any measure of devolved governance when the rest of England doesn't? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Well how about closing this particular thread (as Scottish independence has been voted against) and starting a new one regarding devolution (as it now affects all of the UK)?06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
