Or, for the rest of you Cythrel Sais !
Duw mawr - pan oedd llifogydd glawdd Offa i wneud Cymru yn ynys?
Great god - when was Offa's dyke flooded to make Wales an island?
& if they have....a darned good job done...
I personally Mr Salmond is taking the as regards dictating what the monetary side of the suggested situation will be...if they can't have the pound sterling that have to have plan B...
...he lives a cloud cuckoo land situation that somehow Scotland can be independent & have the best of both worlds...impossible political & financial independence.
The reality situation is that if there is any thing to be gained by a so called independence Mr Pareto's famed principle will be proven try yet again...a few fat cats will coin it & the general population will be disadvantaged to pay for this...if some sort of independence comes about Mr Salmon will become a sort of "McOligarc" ...he will sort of assume wealth from some source or other...he won't be visiting a food bank or going short
....in reality the current situation that Scottish back notes are like monopoly money here in the south even now.....as a comparison I regularly have N. Irish notes that spend OK everywhere (The UK, European banks, even Australia)
I think they (Mr Salmond & his cronies) have to think again....Wake up Scottish voters
there will be less than a 70% turn out & this won't be enough to drive the decision situation to what it should beBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Haha trig. Maybe you're right.
Remember to lock your door tonight, it might be your turn for a visit from the Glaswegians. It's bound to happen sooner or later. Hopefully not on the same day as one of your 6.37 batterings.

The 2014 Homecoming. Who's going home?
Its a big year in so many ways for us Scots.
So, which ex pat Scots amongst us are going to put Andy Stewart and Moira Anderson on the ipod and head home to celebrate the year of The Homecoming?
I'll start it off, with 2 visits planned. One to Durness to watch the Durness Highland Games, and a trip to Edinburgh, as its a city I never seem to get tired of visiting. (and drinking in).
P.S. I'm only kidding about Andy Stewart and Moira Anderson, it will be The Proclaimers, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Paulo Nutini (after all he is Paisley Buddie like myself).
This post has been merged by the site administration team Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

Hmm, Ive been merged into a thread about Independance. My post was about the Homecoming year, which is nothing to do with Independance for Scotland.
Looks like I'll have to stay in England on missionary work a while longer.... Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

Sadly, I think the Homecoming is part of Wee Ecks cunning masterplan in the lead up to the referendum - vast amounts of public money being spent on promoting 'Scottishness' over the months leading up to the vote - not forgetting the Commonwealth Games of course Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

This Homecoming will be just as much a waste of time & money as the last one. Hope we'll repeatedly see the clip of an American in tartan proclaiming in a very loud voice "I'm home!". Yeah right.

Just put in my pre-registration for the new .scot domain for the company....
so am I being nationalistic, protective or misguided?
It makes sense so no-one else can claim it.. and I think a lot of people see Scotland as a premium 'brand' in terms of product?1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Paisley is part of Glasgow to the uninitiated. It's one continuous sprawl from Newton Mearns with the odd bit of green chucked in that is 9 times out of 10, the local cemetery.
Anyway, don't think you can dangle statistics in front of me to make a case. I am not saying Harlow doesn't have a bit of crime, but it's contained to one or two localities and having a disproportionate influence on the town as a whole. The culprits are probably Glaswegians on a bus mans holiday to be honest.
As for the supposed lower per capita crime rate in the north, the public probably don't report assaults and burglaries in Glasgow because it's an accepted practice, almost a custom.
Trig, Paisley is actually part of Renfrewshire. Thanks for your posts on this topic by the way.....Everyone of them certain to push the doubters into voting YES on the day.....Sterling work old chap!

I was not aware of the Anti Scottish feelings... Oh Well I had better vote yes so we can keep our Oil, Whiskey Taxes, Water, Wind and sea power. New Oil reserves are coming on stream soon..off the West coast.. mmm nice.. We could be like Alaska.. rich in natural resources... and give everyone a nice Sum just for living here every year...
Oh and did I mention Our Oils and the fact that we have 3 of the 4 clearing banks in the UK... so we might be nice and allow Trigger to still use our £ pound sterling
