I have to agree with above that the D4 module works well.
The multiple phones numbers for the same person works well - office number, res and cell, that sort of thing.
The signal strength display is similar to on your cell phone - the multiple vertical bars - nice to see and the service provider at least lets you know that your phone has not gone roaming.
The primary "good" however is that the people at the other end of the phone most often do not even know I am on Bluetooth. I sometimes get a question as to what the clicking sound is when my turn signal is on; they do not realize I am driving about.
With Wiggs instructions, the wiring change is not that big a deal.2005 LR3 HSE 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol; Traxide Dual Battery; PIAA 2500K Yellow Ion H11 Fog Light bulbs; CounterAct LT-2 Capacitive Corrosion control; LLumar AIR80 Blue clear Infra Red blocking side window film; Liftgate manual release; Schrader Valve "air in" mod to OEM air suspension reservoir tank; Akebono ceramic pads; OEM solid vented discs; LR4 design hitch receiver; Wiggs D4 MOST bluetooth module; Clock on the Dash; 3 Flash signal light mod; Backup Camera; 2015/16 Nav Data update.

Sounds like a worthy upgrade. Where is best to get one from, a LR main dealer or ebay or something? G
Your sure source of getting the correct D4 module is from Wiggs; electronic stuff is generally non return.
Also from the dealer, there will be no instructions as the assumption is that the new D4 module is going back into a D4; as for eBay, this is not quite the same as ordering mud flaps so it is even chancier than dealer sourced.
Regarding the removed D3 module, I think you will send that back to Wiggs, as he can reprogram it for use by those owners who just want to exchange new software for old.2005 LR3 HSE 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol; Traxide Dual Battery; PIAA 2500K Yellow Ion H11 Fog Light bulbs; CounterAct LT-2 Capacitive Corrosion control; LLumar AIR80 Blue clear Infra Red blocking side window film; Liftgate manual release; Schrader Valve "air in" mod to OEM air suspension reservoir tank; Akebono ceramic pads; OEM solid vented discs; LR4 design hitch receiver; Wiggs D4 MOST bluetooth module; Clock on the Dash; 3 Flash signal light mod; Backup Camera; 2015/16 Nav Data update.

Thanks in advance.

Wiggs I have the same question as Fabrijack, the only difference being that I would need the goods to be shipped to Cape Town South Africa after you have been placed in funds and are satisfied that you have been provided with the correct details of my Disco 3 I look forward to hearing from you. I'm looking to retro fit a bluetooth kit to our 05 D3, what would I need particularly if opting for a D4 module eg: can a loom be made up or just look to source a loom from a breakers with the module and assuming it is more or less plug and play to control modules etc
@Martyc get hold of site sponsor Geoff. He's in Kent and can sort you with all the parts you need and fit if required Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Depending weather you have voice control if not approx £280 for all bits & for D4 module if no voice £310 plus p&p for all you req but u will need it enabled
+1 for Geoff sorting it out we did it no problems and wiggs
Seriously though Geoff is a top bloke who knows what he is on with and will not rip you off
The D4 module is spot on in my 05 SE wish I had fitted it four years ago instead of buying the cheap sun visor ones, the sound quality is far better and the ease of using it too especially with the last 10 dialled numbers stored, I didn't go for the PTI button on the left side just the red/green buttons on the right of the steering wheel. Traveling Leeds to London weekly now and on the phone to swmbo is a lot less hassle and safer. Trust me it's one mod that defiantly needs doing Goodyear Duratracs

Hi Geoff,
Pretty sure it has voice control (the car can talk) but best if you explain what to look for/ check please.
To enable the bluetooth I would need software/ nanocom or yourself???
If the latter it would be an idea for me to look in to the other programming you mentioned.
Is there a guide for the bluetooth install available???
Cheers all
Marty

Wiggs, could you PM price (& availability) for a D4 module please? I've got a 06 D3 HSE, do you take back the Bluetooth modules from these as a P/X for your exchange scheme? Thanks, Matthew
