Mick Flack has just fitted a new oil pump,water pump, timing belt and Aux belt for me and done a splendid job It really is an education to watch him, everything is done in order with all the correct tools. He did all it in just 2 1/2 hours from lifting bonnet to dropping it. But apart from all that we think he may have stumbled on my main problem that I have had since I bought it and that's the juddering at junctions and nearly stalling. While the front of the car was in bits i.e. casing pipes and large intercooler hose off, he (not me) noticed that the butterfly was still inside of the throttle body and said "have your egr,s been blanked ?" I said yes by the first owner so he then said well this should be out then ! He removed it and I have drove it home from Preston to Burnley and it feels like a different car. Its now quicker on the uptake and no juddering at junctions or trying to stall at roundabouts. What a brilliant job all round Mick, thankyou once again O and just to top it off he has lent me a new alternator and aux belt for the N500 ,just in case one of us breaks down because of it. It amazes me how many people leave the centre butterfly valve in place. There's even a couple of cheap tuning companies that do a 'software only' egr blank. Yes, they don't even blank the egrs and don't remove the butterfly. Bodsys Brake Bible
