It works better with men as it uses the tripole technology, two legs e.t.c. I have heard that an erection can boost the signal but never tried, maybe check out some websites before using your remote, pressing it on an erection could increase the distance, good luck

My car is parked just 50 meters from our house, but the remote is not working until I put on my shoes and walk halfway there. From front door it's not working even though it's clear view. Is there a way to extend the range, i.e. fiddle with the brown wire? When will the gsm module be available?
Try and move the brown wire as 50mtrs does seem a low range for sure. You can try and run the brown wire on the FBH side of your car down in the inner wing rubber.
We are still working hard on the GSM module and we hope it will not be much longer, though we do not want to rush this and spoil or miss something important functionally on what is going to be a very nice and clever addon.

Would someone be kind enough to list all the bits I need to get my FBH to work by mobile phone, there is some consusion on my part as what works with what and I don't want to spend un-necessarily buying the wrong kit. Tried piecing it together from posts but still not certain
Thank you in anticipation,

You could use my kit1 as per the original post made by Geoff for the base FBH control, and either wait for my GSM module/kit2 to be ready ad an add-on or attach this GSM remote to my kit1 for phone control.

Hi Pete, my FBH departs with the remote control but at times he stop; the pump feels him turn but it doesn't ignite the flame. In automatic all ok. I also have the necessity to increase the course of the receiver.
Some idea?

Hi
Hi if the FBH does not fully fire and run for 30 mins if this is the setting you have then i can only advise you have a problem with your fbh, or the water temprature is to high.
I think you may need to try fuel treatment in your diesel.

Hi
I can assure you that if the temprature of the colant is not above 72-76C and your FBH is in good operation my kit will start it every time as many on the forum can also tell you. The first start only does the same as your car would to make it start so as long ass all conditions are met for temprature and battery voltage your heater will start every time..
If you ge tit to start please leave it 30 mins to make its fully cycle and clean all the dirt out frm the FBH internals.
If your FBH fails to start the green led does flash fast as its making communication to your FBH, also when the fbh is runing the green led will flash this is normal.

Pete, would this unit be suitable to operate your device via GSM?
The seller has said he can set the momentary relay to any length of time as required, I assume this would be 1 second?
They are £66 buy it now.
Also, how easy would it be to wire one in to your controller?

Sorry i do not have any bottle openers left, i added them originally as they were stock left from the show season.
Regarding adding a gsm, as long as you can make a contact of 2 wires for 1/2-1 second then you can add those 2 wires between SW1 see on the bottom right and GND also seen middle/top right, or connect to chassis GND of your car.
wires between SW1 & GND = ON
wires between SW2 & GND = OFF
This picture has changed slightly to what some people may see inside the box but the SW1 and SW2 you see are the same.

Pete,
Previously I supported your work on the GSM element of the FBH controller but your shock news:
