Yep, on thinking, suppose it's got to operate below 5c, otherwise how is the installation going to be tested when fitted in higher temparatures....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

For those who like things to look OEM a length of split conduit is a handy way of keeping the wires tidy:
I guess the 7mm thick stuff would be about right for routing the wire to the FBH, along with some cable ties. Got some from this place but I am sure it can be found cheaper.

Now what would be nice is if you could integrate it with the D3 keyfob/remote. The 'Land Rover' button is programmable. Maybe add some logic to the FBH controller that says if the headlights are turned on below a certain temp and so long after the end being switched off that the FBH starts up.

Yes that would be nice, but if Pete can't do it I am not sure anyone else could without a great deal of expense.
Now that the production unit has no buttons how do you trigger a purge which was one of the original features?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Hi ill post more later tomorrow hopefully when its writen up in a document or pdf.
As said above the FBH will fire at any outside temp, it will also to the purge fuel pump for 20 seconds via the remote plip with a special sequence of actions and a simlar sequence to read and clear fault codes if needed so it really is a fit and forget unit.
