Exactly and that was going to be the future off Scotland
All whisked into a frenzy but receipt and snake oil, so much so people became dangerous as they believed the lies and were infecting others, but justice was dished out very strongly

Well at least we now know where its safer to go on our holidays in Scotland now.
Does anyone go on holiday in the blue bits??
Ducking for cover, incoming from Weegie's.
Interestingly, if I move back to Scotland I wouldn't be moving to any of the blue bits.
Was always my intention, not just because of the vote.
Sincere apologies to any offence I may cause to those living in those areas.
(I'm actually from one of these areas myself)...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Little snippet from the BBC Scotland/South website...
"Proximity to the border almost certainly played its part in a strong majority for No in both the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway.
That close relationship with England was summed up by one voter I overheard leaving a polling station in Dumfries.
"I cannae even understand why we're voting on this," he was telling a friend. "We've been friends with them for years."
And that was clearly a view of Scotland's relationship with the rest of the United Kingdom shared by many others in the south of the country.""Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

His was the only bullying on show.
You can be floundering, begging and grovelling OR bullying - not both.
I know you're happy to make the guy sound as bad as possible but the only real intimidation, threats and aggression reported on (will await the cries of media bias) were of those from the YES making NO voters feel like they couldn't vote or express an opinion through fear of recrimination.MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Indeed,if I'm not mistaken,Police Scotland have taken an interest in some anti-Murray social media comments....possibly even that one..."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Ok....
1/ He used bullying tactics.......He thought they weren't working when there was a reported shift toward the YES campaign in the polls. He then retorted to begging and grovelling.......So apparently both can quite easily be achieved.
2/ Slight contradiction in your second point. "real intimidation, threats and aggression" reported on from YES voters making NO voters feel they couldn't vote or express an opinion through fear of incrimination.
55% - 45% in favour of the NO voters.
