Anyhow... Cameron is not going to win either way .. Debate with Wee Eck and people think that there is really something to debate.. Ignore Scotland and he is seen to not give a toss!
On the economics .. the Barnett formula is a bit of propaganda... it relies on UK contribution level for 'regional' funding. As Scotland contributes to this (but not at source due to the way companies declare things...) it is skewed number...
I worked for a global Company.. at the drop of a hat they up sticks and moved to Switzerland.. thus not contributing the £££ Millions in tax to the UK economy that they did. They closed factories and relocated a lot of production to Poland...
They move base as the Tax regime suits... and if Scotland had a more attractive corporate tax structure I'm sure many companies would relocate... Some have 'London Offices' but the backroom is not in London due to Staff costs etc... some are in other parts of the UK or in places like Gibraltar etc...
I guess whatever way it goes things will never be the same...

there seems to me to be so many reasons why Scotland should stay part of the uk, and only one reason (patriotic) why Scotland should be independent.
to me its between stupid people who vote yes for independence and intelligence who vote No.
the question is - (a) is Scotland full of Stupid People or (b) is Scotland full of Intelligent People 
if the answer is (b) then perhaps we are better off with out Scotland  Duncan
