Thank you
PM on its way
[quote="wiggs"] move the mic over to the cars wiring insted of the aftermarket kit wiring
Not sure about where to connect. Can the aftermarket mic be connected where the voice control mic is connected? I have check (from other post you have started) and I got the connection at the roof lamp console. Or it have to be connected somewhere else? Thank you and sorry for so many questions.

No, no voice control. Just the plug where the voice control mic is supposed to be connected. I just have the aftermarket Bluetooth Kit that comes with a mic that is connected to the After Market Harness.
Cheers

Hello Wiggs:
I have manage to get a D4 module. Can you please provide instructions on how to obtain the MOST cable you are selling. Also can you please clarify where the aftermarket kit microphone that I have should be reconnected when performing this modification. Thank you

Ok wiggs forget about connecting the mic in the voice control mic plug maybe that have confuse a little. The only mic that I have is not similar to the picture. It is the one that comes with the Bluetooth aftermarket kit (If I remember the AM kit part number is VUB501151). As you have mention, I should remove everything but wheel buttons and should connect the mic to the car's wiring. My question is where exactly should I connect the mic after removing the aftermarket kit? How I am suppose to connect the aftermarket kit mic to the car’s wiring as this mic is now connected to the after market harness. Remember that I am planning install a D4 Bluetooth module connected with one of your MOST cables into the radio system.
Regards,

You are going to remove the aftermarket wiring ... That includes a small wire that goes up to the mic in the light consul above your head ( well you could actually leave that once its disconnected at each end )
The mic has a connector on it similar or same as the one in link in previous post .
Find the car wiring tucked away in head lining and connect that to the aftermarket mic
If it dosent fit you can either chop the end off and join the 3 wires or get a new mic ( I'm pretty sure the mic has the same connector though )
The voice control and phone mic is the same G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

wiggs wrote:I have just found out that the voice controls that are normally stored in the bluetooth module are not stored in the D4 module any more
If you have full voice control ( ie radio , nav etc ) then it makes no difference as it uses the voice control stored in the nav unit .
So this would only effect any one without a touch screen and sat nav
Just though i would pass on the info .
I have some more bluetooth units here if any one wants any
Well I should have ask this before, since I have already bought a D4 module and your MOST cable. I do not have voice control (no navi screen), so I will not be able to voice command the phone when the new D4 module is installed. Even with this restriction do you think this setting is better than the aftermarket kit which is the one that I have already installed? Just want to know your opinion.
Thank you

Hi Wiggs,
It seems firstly I'm late to the party! But you apear to be the man in the know! I'm a new owner of a 2005 s spec D3. No BT fitted from the factory, no Nav screen and no voice control however I do have the 6 disk stereo with telephone keypad but no buttons on the steering wheel.
I really want to fit retro BT and have read this post with interest. Just so I think I've got it right:
D4 module is better but doesn't house the voice commands for voice control? So if I fitted D4 there is no need to fit the voice control button on the left side of the steering wheel?
Does the phone mic still plug into the same connector in the roof lining as per your fitting voice control guide?
Do you know anyone in the Norfolk/Suffolk area with a Faultmate that would be willing to enable the setup for me?
Finally do you still sell the most plug and play cable?
Thanks
Kyle

Hi Wiggs
I am in the same boat as Kes I believe - My car is an 06 D3 S 6 cd HK with telephone swtich on radio panel
I am sorting out my leather steering wheel with TLO at the moment on the group buy and he has quoted me ( at my reuqest for
D4 module
telephone controls right side
mic
(as I would like to get both fitted together)
Is that correct in terms of what I need from TLO.
Please can you quote me for the MOST and I think a power cable - if i have read through the posts correctly.
For enabling what are my options for enabling in south hampshire and west towards penezane when I am next over?
Many thanks
