Some dealers will do it ( others don't seem to know what there doing )
Takes 45 mins to program .. So should be about an hours labour at your dealer.
Someone with a faultmate can do it also G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

thanks for the info Wiggs, I'll have a look round on the site for someone with a faultmate near Taunton who might be willing to do it for me.

Thanks for the info wiggs. Also is there anyway to modify the D4 unit to stream A2DP audio from an iphone? Currently i just use belkin bluetooth receiver but it would be great if it was built in. Also does the kit you sell also include the wring to change from a 3 row adapter to a 2 row adapter or do I have to go to radio Shack and splice wires? Thanks.

The only pins used on the connector are the power and ground. I can send you out a 2 pin connector if you want, I've a few of them kicking about. They are not very long so you'll have to extend them to your 12v and GND points.
edit: Seen you are State-side so maybe not such a good idea - Radioshack should have what you need.

albal, I appreciate your generosity but i'll probably just go to Radio Shack. Do you have a picture of your connection to the power points on the old 3 row adapter and/Or a diagram? I have seen the diagram of which pins to connect to the NEW D4 Module in the forum. But i don't know which corresponding holes in the 3 row plastic adapter are the 12v and the ground. Thanks in Advance.

I'm fitting a D4 module into a D3 which never had Bluetooth so I don't have the plug. As said before the only pin connections are for the power and ground. Trying to make the connector fit or re-uses other connections may cause other problems.
Cheers.

I appreciate the power info wiggs. Your awesome. Would connecting any other pins add functionality to steeringwheel? such as the voice command button on the steering wheel? (i don't have and don't want the cell phone center console craddle tho)

Hi
Bought the D4 module, some questions remains:
*what is the part number for the green/red phone button steering wheel switch?
*is it possible to activate the BT module with an Autologic interface, if so, what file must be used?
Thanks for the info. www.skienklinikk.no

The part number of the telephone buttons depends on the colour of your interior and it's linked to the VIN number. If you give 'The Large One' a call at Yeovil Landrover he will be able to order up the right one for you with a good forum discount too.
edit: Sorry keep on missing that not all people are from the same parts...
Apparently you can activate the BT module with Autologic but they'll have to know how to do it. I know of a forum member who has been in and out of a local specialist, to be fair they usually do Defenders and D1/2's, and they've not got the config quite right yet. Searching for +autologic +bluetooth didn't come up so maybe someone who has done it could post a guide.
