There's a picture of 3 Nokia modules in this thread, 2 have white labels and the other hasn't. I notice that the module to the far left also has a white sleeve coming out of the MOST plug connection, what's that for ?.
What's the difference between these 3 units?
Thanks
Carl

I can report full success on a 2008.5 RRS.
I was able to borrow a LR4 bluetooth unit for testing.
Very easy and quick to install, thanks to Wiggs instructions.
Improvements so far
- better sound quality
- 1000 names instead of 300(previously I could only get to letter "G" in the phonebook, now I get all)
- multiple numbers per name(mobile, home, etc.)
- Displays operator name
- displays reception signal level
- does not "steals" calls, phone connects only when you turn the key (and not unlocking the car), it disconnects immediately when you remove the key.
Great upgrade I'd say
Let's just hope they forget they lent it to me

Thanks Wiggs, D4 Module, and your cable arrived today, you don’t mess about do you fella. I’ll drop a PM when it’s fitted.
Cheers
Spen Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
...or, we could remove the safety labels of everything and let the problem sort its self out...

I've got the voice control button but not the phone buttons... would I just need to get the buttons connected up as well as the bluetooth module to make it work, or are there other things required to get it working?

yes its possible to fit the bluetooth (factory fit ) in the car . Its easier than fitting the LR aftermarket kit
you would need
bluetooth module ( i have these )
telephone switch
voice switch
mic
some most cable - fibre optic - ( i have these )
power and ground supply for the module
I would suggest Nick (the large one ) for the switches / mic as he knows whats needed fo the retro fit bluetooth .
You would then need it enabled in the CCF file ..."01coccobet" in Italy has the faultmate kit ...and i will quite happily tell him what needs to be set in the ccf file if you could meet up with him
IainC
you would need the same except the voice switch and mic ( as you already have it )
I can enable , and do travel to scotland now and again G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
