At least I managed to take the rear bumper off and fix the PDC wiring loom so I am not a complete failure tonight.

Halfords grenades Theyve taken some terrific abuse over the years I'm amazed they still work!!
Having the brake on or ofF makes absolutely no difference to how the suspension works.
Don't forget you will need to have it in neutral in order to turn the hub to do the adjustment. Give me a call if you get stuck tomorrow.Bodsys Brake Bible

Yeah I planned to take it out of gear once jacked to "fool" suspension initially.
Sorted now, tight and 8 clicks back, no more screamer, have to see how it goes over the week (when the wife drives, she seems to get a lot more heat in the discs/drums with her style, and it works better than when I do!).
Jacked under the arm in the end, worked perfectly.
Picture of adjuster would be useful, took me a while to find it, but suspect you don't have one now you seem to have new discs and pads all round!
PS Halfords grenades are indestructible, best £3 I ever spent!

I'm just updating V1.4 at the moment with a description of how to bleed the brakes, awaiting some photo's from kind guinea pigs to match them up
I'm also adding the Jack Adapter info as requested elsewhere (Nameless of course) as well as advising to place the jack on a suitable peice of wood when jacking onto softer tarmac or ground.
Can anyone think of anything else that needed adding if you've already use it and have any additional feedback??

Thanks for the guide Bodsy. Superb. Have never changed my own brakes before, but using your guide it was dead easy, didn't take long and saved me cash. Donation made to the site on the strength of it!

Bodsy Adjusted the EPB thanks to your guide and pm(screaming pig gone for good), managaged without torque wrench and did it at 20:30, there was a big difference in lenght of adjuster between the two sides, driver side requiring far more ajustment, is this normal?
Pads on passenger side allot thinner than other side, is this normal for car with traction control? Will take drums off and clean when i have more time.

without a torque wrench.... well there's always alternative ways of doing it I guess
Difference in adjuster is just down to either how it's been worn or if it wasn't adjusted well in the first place, a consequence of that.
One side needed adjusting more than the other on mine, but not by a huge ammount.
Pads should be similar (you mean Pads or the Shoes?) else it may be that the caliper slider needs some coppergrease on it to help the pads move.
Or it could be a sign of some brake imbalance, but TBH it's not usual to get that in this type of vehicle.
You could expect a difference, but not a massive difference.Bodsys Brake Bible
Already used it on the wife’s car - the jack pad gripped the underside of the car in a reassuring manner and avoided any damage to the jacking area. A worthwhile option for those using the Clarke 3 Tonne jack.
