doing the shoes isn't fun.
I think you are meant to use a diagnostic tool to back the cable off further, and that should help

Not my idea of fun that's for sure. The PB cable itself wasn't an issue at all it was just the return spring. Took me a couple hours to do the left side but about 20 minutes to do the right

Hi,
Used the bible for years. Would never have managed without it. Absolute life saver.
Got a question on the bedding in for the EPB. All the references that I can find refer to the display telling me that it's in the bedding in mode. As I'm cheap, got a base model with springs from new. It's a 56 plate and doesn't have a display. Always followed the procedure and thought I'd done it right as there was no display to tell me otherwise.
I've now discovered that the bedding in mode is activated when the red park light flashes. Never got it to do that before
Question is, how do I know when it's completed?
Doing it today and all going well, I thought, then amber brake light came on, lots of noise from the back and brakes locked up. Released and appeared to reset when ignition turned off then on again.
Any help would be most appreciated.
