Top banana sir, top banana I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

NoDo$h,
The WITURA (WT-009) some of us have been using can do all you want. Can send back sms confirmations up to 8 'administrators. Can store up to 64 telephone#/users. And it costs $60,-. If you google it you will find the chinese supplier.
There's a photo some posts back.
Good luck.

Had TFC fit a WT-009 to mine today, top job and top bloke, anyone ham-fisted with soldering etc should consider him.
Now I have a working FBH again (also fitted by TFC), looking forward to a toasty engine when, umm the weather gets colder Still, avoids all those nasty, engine-wearing cold starts in the meantime.... Cheers

Is everyone still fitting the gsm timer and wabasto timer under the bonnet ?
I found when mine was installed next to the abs on the RRS i didnt get much signal on the gsm device, so i installed it all above the centre console lamp unit and now all is fine
Only 2 wires our to the bulkhead, one for the wabasto and one for the LEd in the head light..
Regards Pete

My contact at the WITURA factory in China are posted underneath. They quoted me $60,- per unit (for us eur. 45,-) ex-factory, so you should consider some transport costs (small parcel with UPS, I would say around 15-20 eur. max). If you order one they can send it as 'sample' so no import taxes are due. If you order a bunch, the price will drop I'm sure, but you can't get away with the sample format. I have no idea what import taxes are due on this.

Trouble with a group buy is that you find yourself looking at import duty and VAT as more than one unit. Best go for a direct purchase I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Just bought one from this chap a couple of days ago. He has the 4 pin plug as well, even though he doesn't have it listed.

Hey guys,
dont own a Disco but found this site while looking for options to automate the webasto heater on my rover 75.
Just thought I'd add that the link that Wiggs had in his post at the top of this page for the gsm unit actually has its own timer built into it, so all you'd really need is the gsm unit.
Ive enquired with the seller and you can set the unit to switch itself off after any time you want (upto 8 hours), so you can just set the off time to say 30 minutes and then after you have activated it by phone it will switch off after the 30 minutes.
