It could be quite simple to do, using an input to say when the alarm is set and then a flash of the headlamps via the button would do it and another flash to switch it off.

FBH GSM remote timer
HI Wiggs
I met up with you at the LRO and you did some great work on my Disco, Many thanks
I am looking at fitting a FBH control for the winter? can I bug u and ask what you think of this unit ?
It has a good temperature operating range and the IP protection is good. The Webasto oval timer fill fit inside the box - but the spacers and fixing screws need shortening to prevent crushing. The IP55 grommets unscrew and can be replaced with rubber blind types. Mine is slotted in the spare battery bay between the ABS unit and the (disconnected) alarm sounder. Due to the antenna's proximity to vehicle metalwork, it is a little deaf but works fine.
Like most of these things, you need to read the back of the instruction manual before the front pages to turn off the voicemail on your SIM card.
TIP: on the underside of battery box lid, write the important details such as the password and the date that you last asked it for a status (thereby keeping the account open with the telecon provider)Club missing my D3

Hi Wiggs
I would have sent a pm but as a newbe I'm not allowed yet, I'm fine with that.
I was searching the net for info on installing a FBH and came across this thread of yours and in there I found
and I thought "I would love that on my phone"
I don't have a Disco but I do have a 75 which is still a ROVER after all
on the pretext that if I don't ask you don't have the chance to say yes, a bit cheeky I know, but..
is that app available to others??

It's not an app
It's a shortcut to the number assigned to the dialer which is connected to the FBH as described above, and though I'm sure wiggs will come along to elaborate on his method, you can achieve the same result by apps such as "TapToCall" (though haven't used it since the 3GS - switched to Android personally 8) )
The icon you have to make yourself and assign it to the dialer's number as a "contact picture"...

Hi,
I am new over here, but I found this while I was looking for an answer on the following subject. Hope that someone can help me out.
Yesterday my Thermotop V is programmed and it works verry nice. only the T91 does not work.
I have 12V on pin 1, earth on pin 6 and W-bus on pin 2. When I check the wiring pin 3 has 12V for a short time after pressing the "on" button, all the other wires have no response. When I disconnect the W-bus (pin2) there is no response on the T91 side and +/- 5V on the heater side.
Can someone please tell me whats normal, and what to do or check. I don't know anymore.
BR, Paul.

I had a problem with a T91 recently - apparently they are not so reliable??

Hi to all, FBH guru!
I resume this post because, yesterday I fitted my Webasto remote control.
When I set the timer, at the right time the FBH fire up. It Works fine
But… if I push the manual button nothing happens, doesn't works
No flame icon appears on the LCD and no answer from the FBH!!!
After read 31 pages, I have not found the solution.
Whats can happened? Its normal that the flame icon doesn't appear or is my 1533 broken?
Other questions, just to be sure:
1) The GSM NO relè give at the FBH only an "momentary action" right?
Not permanently ON, is't correct? If yes, how many seconds needed? 1, 5, 10, more…
2) The "OUT" wire from the timer stay free, not connected anywhere, right?
Any help is very appreciated

1. With my timer I only need a second of contact and then everything is good and running, you don't need permanent contact.
2. I seem to recall the "Out" from the timer was if you wanted to connect an LED to indicate the timer was running this was where it went. It's pretty handy if you only have the remote setting and not GSM. You can press, see the LED light up and know all is working.
I have no idea why your flame button is not working, but try letting the car go to sleep and then trying the flame button as the car takes control of the FBH when it's awake so I suspect it's this. Mods:

Hi Narpy.
My GSM remote has 2 Rele and 1 Input.
I think will connect the FBH pump in to the input to have the correct SMS feedback that the FBH is running
For the manual trigger, maybe soldering the wires I cooked something
In your LCD appears the flame when you push the button or call by your remote
