After a visit to the dealer today I have ordered a fixed towbar from Tow Trust. Boss was on holiday so I spoke to Alan who does sales. Mentioned that I had seen the bar on here and it was recommended by the masses on here. Without prompting for a discount off the web price he then said it costed 157.80 delivered, with overnight delivery included.
Will let you know how I get on with it..
Can't wait for the courier now Rolling with laughter

Well what can I say. Delivered as promised yesterday. Unpacked it, looks a very sturdy bit of kit. Fitted it today. Longest part was getting the bolts back into the chassis legs. The bracket the bolt originaly holds had sprung and didn't line up perfectly. And I couldn't loosen off the outer nut as I don't have a spanner big enough. So a bit of birmingham screwdriver and it all popped in nicely.
Very pleased with the kit, will have my first test run this Sun when I go to Sussex for a day out on the quad.

Good job. I think you'll be pleased with it. Mind you, for £2.30 extra, I think I'd have had the peace of mind and extra service and backup of buying straight from the manufacturer! Thumbs Up

Glad to have helped. Glad you like it, I expected you would. It does look like a mean bit of kit, looks like you could hang 3 busses off it! All the best with it Thumbs Up

Fitted the tow bar the other night, straight forward enough Smile
I've left the height adjuster set up off for the minute, as the D3 will be going off road this weekend, so I'll report back on any issues with the 'bar in the mud Thumbs Up
