I've spoke with Panoramix and he's happy for me to carry on creating the brightness fix for the RR mod.

Just so i can gauge interest on how many components i need to order, are people still genuinely after these?

Will keep this thread up to date as a progress with my creation, testing and eventual release.

Watch this space... Thumbs Up

I did the same mod and installed a rear view camera boughtform amazon which fits in the number-plate-light-socket.

Wirering and everything went well with your instructions.

I need to find someone with an IID Tool to set the rear camera working.

But I heared about a “753” menu to test it, even if it is not set to work by an IID Tool.
However with the RR Menu I can’t find the “ghost menu” to test the Rear cam.

I want to test the cam before I drive to an workshop with this IID Tool.

It’s something like.

Goto home menu
Hold you finger on the top line of screen, in the middle for more than 3 seconds.
Then hold a hard button for over 3 seconds ( can’t remember which of the 2)
A key pad will be displayed
Enter code
Select video input test

Now it worked. I can see a picture of the cam, great! But I only see it on the wrong menu point, it is not under RearCamera Menu, it is under Companion Camera it something similar, didn’t read it correctly.

Is it a mistake while wireing?

Found the mistake by myself. Used the wrong input, it was written the “tan colored” is the correct input for rear camera, on my disco 3 it is the brown one (in the middle). Now i can see the picture while testing.

Now searching for someone with IID Tool for setting the rear camera working.

Or is it poissible wihtout this tool?

yes brown connector for rear camera. Worth testing then !

Yes you need an IID to enable and a license.
