Welcome to the site
while the d3 module will proberly cure your issues ..the D4 module has better features and a more up to date bluetooth protocol ( better for future phones )
will also give you 1000 contacts ( insted of 300 on old module )
show mutiple numbers per name
show signal strenght and service provider
disconnects once the car is switched off ( unless your on a call )
if you can afford the difference i would go D4 module
i will pm you the prices and you can weight it up
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have emailed you since I am not able to PM as of yet.
Take care,
George

Sorry I read that as a different part number
No the aftermarket kit dosent upgrade .
Youd be better off fitting the factory fit kit ... You would have to remove the old wiring loom from the aftermarket kit though G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hello there I was redirected to this forum after searching why my Bluetooth in my 2006 RRS doesn't work with my iPhone 4s. After reading this thread it appears I need the D4 module from wiggs. Only small problem is I can't pm him as I'm a newbie. So this is my first post, I have losts of other questions as well just got to find the right sections.

Hi
I have same problem with range rover sport 2007 and iphone4. It pairs using 2121 but car dosn't remember phone and has to be manually paired each time I get into the car.
I hear you have replacement phone modules for sale that would solve the problem. Is this true please? If so please could you call me on 07971495051
Thanks
Adrian

this was posted a few pages into this post
wiggs wrote:I have just found out that the voice controls that are normally stored in the bluetooth module are not stored in the D4 module any more
If you have full voice control ( ie radio , nav etc ) then it makes no difference as it uses the voice control stored in the nav unit .
i presume you only have voice for the telephone (profile shows SE model )....in that case you need to get full voice enabled ...that will bring back the voice control .
if your not happy i will give you a refund on the module .
Geoff is down your way ...i can get him to switch it on for you G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

You're the salt of the earth, Wiggs.
Ordered a D4 module on Sunday, you posted on Monday, received on Tuesday and now I have a fully functioning iPhone 4S that works brilliantly in the Disco for the first time ever.
Incidentally, after testing it first, I cut the fixing lugs off the module and it fits nicely on the D3 module bracket with foam tape or a cable tie.
Star man. Indebted to you.

Huge thanks to Adrian for supplying the parts I needed halfway around the world and for his prompt responses and advice. My RRS now has full D4 bluetooth phone capability after having the D4 module, MOST cable, and phone switches installed as a home DIY project.
To try to 'give a little back' I noticed on page 28 of this thread there was unresolved debate as to whether autologic could successfully enable the cars CCF for the new module. I can confirm it does - had it done 30 minutes ago and it's 100% working. In Autologic you need to go into "infotainment", "Cellphone" and then enable "Dock station with bluetooth" (as per Adrian's advice on page 28/29 of this thread.
Hope this helps some others. I should add that my independant had updated the Autologic software only yesterday.
Cheers Wiggs!!!
