Hi Wiggs,
Just done this D4 module mod on aD3 07 HSE.
All works ok, except a problem with a Blackberry Storm 9800.
It pairs, but then drops the connection, then immediately reconnects. Sometimes the connections stays, other times drops & reconnects. It will cycle, doing this regularly. Also the phone book option is on the dash, but displays empty when pressed.
I have tried various options on the phone, but none improve this.
The same phone works in a discovery 4 perfectly
regards
Steve

I updated the IHU when I put in the latest software on the bluetooth D3 module to try to get that to work properly.
Ah well, I'll keep trying a few things & see where I get.
Regards
Steve

Cheers.
All that works ok with my steam driven Nokia, so I assume I have to find what's going on in the Blackberry menus, although, it's a pain that'll connect the Blackberry to the same module when it's fitted to a D4

Hi Steve
Similar problems I have when I updated bluetooth to D4 module trying to pairing my 9700 BB.
Try to do a hard reset (is what I did), and it works much better, but take into account that BBs are not a good smartphone to do pair.
I have also anHTC smartphone pairing with D4 module in my D3 and is hasn´t same problems when I pair BB.

I think the D4 module works on the Range Rover and lets pair with later models mobiles such as the BB9700 and allowing to have the address book working
