bluetooth successfully installed thanks
Just wanted to thank Wiggs, for the most cable and TLO for the Bluetooth unit and Albal for activating it with his new faultmate I am now thrilled to say it all works on my 05 Disco 3. with iphone 4 - including the phone book.
This site is fantastic keep it up guys
Now.....if only I could solve the central locking which only works on high days and Sindays depending on the cycle of the moon , despite a new receiver and all the wiring checked over
Any ideas anyone??

Wiggs / Bodsy
Hopefully my old unit and the torx adaptor should be back with you now - please let me know when it lands.

D4 Bluetooth
Hi Can anyone tell me how to get the phonebook to show on my sat nav screen - is it possible? I have 05 Disco 3 HSE touch screen sat nav hi line and have fitted the D4 bluetooth unit which works a treat (thanks Wiggs and TLO) but the phonebook only shows on the green radio screen and I cant read it. The 'voice command' tells me there is 'phone book empty'. I can dictate the number to the system thru voice command but that would mean I have to memorise every number I use.
Can I get the phone book on the voice command memory? Is there a way I can do it even if it means sitting in the car and inputting details verbally through the voice command system? OR can I get the touch screen to upload my phone system??
I saw the mod on another thread which changes the screen to Range Rover software - is that the answer?
Help??

Only way to get it on the screen is the mod on the other thred
Says phone book is empty as you have not stored any names ....
Try saying" phone store name" ... It will ask you for name and number .... You can then say "phone dial name " and she will ask for the nameG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
