Having travelled all the way from Cornwall to Manchester for Work, it seemed daft not to pay the esteemed Wiggs a visit yesterday for an upgrade to my bluetooth unit.
Well pleased, and a great chat while waiting for the software to upload.
Thanks for all your help and advice

Wiggs,
It seems you are the authority on this forum. I have question ragrding seeing my phonebook information and making calls via the naviation touch screen. I have a range rover sport 2006 and just purchase the D4 module to install.
In order to view the phonebook info an d making calls via the nav screen what do i need to change, or it's just not possible. Any insight would be great.
Thank you.

Are you sure Wiggs?
I have the D4 module in mine, but the phonebook does not show up on the nav screen(or at least, I never found it)

Hi Adrian
If it is possible to get your phone numbers etc on the D3 sat nav screen with a D4 module then I'd luv this upgrade even though you have already upgraded my D3 version in the past. If so have you got any modules around you at mo pal?
Cheers, Keith
Oh by the way the two other D3 owners on our estate are asking me to set up a date to have there 4x4 screens enabled. D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

my mistake the original poster has a sport not a FFRR that i though it was ...even though this is a discovery forum ( see why im confused )
so ...only FFRR has the contacts on the nav screen ....
D3 and Sport only have the contacts on the radio and dash LCD screen ...it makes no difference which module you have ...as long as the D3 one is up to date G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi, was interested to see your mods on the bluetooth. I have a Disco 3 and use crackberry 9700. Bluetooth always worked great till I upgraded the crackberry software, now it only connects to the Disco every now and again, but my phone still connects to all other bluetooth devices ok. I have never been able to transfer tele numbers to the disco so always have to push the buttons to dial.... any ideas? is there something I can buy to upgrade the bluetooth in the disco?
