Yes,the original Land Rover reverse camera image is displayed and you get the option to add or remove grid lines in settings.

Can you add more cameras? I'd be interested in having one on the back of my caravan for when I'm reversing without the missus!2014 D4 XS

Yes,there’s lots of connections for camera in but make sure you get the input cables when you order as they are specific.Mine came with input for front camera, surround camera and dash camera.

works on your screen 100% - the difference in options is to cater for the MY12 year changes - so rotary dial gear different to pre MY12 gear stick ... if you get model year right e.g. MY15 you will be fine
I have just had the order cancelled on me by yanav saying there engineers said that Capactive screen will not work with this product, very confused have land rover changed the screen in the 2014 to 2016 models?
Has anyone fitted one to a 2014 to 2016 disco with success?
Bit gutted was really looking forward to one these in the car.

I wouldn't of thought there was any difference either. Do you know if yours was capacitive or Resistive screen by any chance. sounds like its all to with the type of screen and mybe the later ones are the same physical unit but the actual screen is different.

For those still wondering about how to install, I've got a Range Rover Sport (similar model years and same unit as Discovery 4) video which clearly shows the steps. If you follow my previous links from PowerfulUK to remove the Disco4 dash and this video, you should have everything
What they do show in this video is the GPS being dashboard mounted, I would recommend as per previous postings you use Andy's trick and link into the Land Rover/vehicle GPS aerial, I get fantastic signal through it.

It looks even neater in the RRS, not having the two blank plastic 'wings' that the D4 has.

Any images of carplay working on it available, please? Does it take the whole screen or just half the screen? On the promo images, it shows tacho and speedo, is that accurate?
Also, I see in the video that it connects through the aux in, do you need to switch into that each time or does it do it automatically? Presume the radio and CD stay linked as previously.
Sorry about all the questions, this is looking interesting to me.

Its the one thing that puts me off - if they could sort out the H bar trim I'd be all over this - sure it can be done, its just the costs involved Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Was thinking that if I got my hands on a LHD side trim piece - ie without the start / stop button hole, then moving the start stop button to one of the trims (obv the one closer to the wheel) might make it look a bit better. Was tempted then to get another stop start button for the other side and 'adapt it' (really only keep the chrome trim and then install a usb outlet on that side might make it look a little more purposeful.
However if it was not perfect it would look crap!

Thanks guys for answering questions, am a sucker for gadgets! Have the Naviplus Carplay in my Disco to date but would like to upgrade to this.
I see in the videos the rpm is live, does it pick up info such as the rpm and speedo?
