Hi Neil, the screens are different for the Denso and Bosch hosts, I have one for Denso but I sold a Bosch one last week. What year is your vehicle.
It’s not simply plug in, you have to remove the mcu and motherboard but it’s not overly complicated.
You can have a screen to try if you pay postage and if it works it’s £100.

I don’t think it’s possible. The Bluetooth module is embedded in the mcu and can only interact with phones.
It can not discover other Bluetooth devices in my experience.

has anyone gone with the optional tyre pressure monitoring add on?
I’m wondering how it interfaces with the unit? I see it connects via usb so does that mean it’s fully integrated? eg if tyre pressure falls below a predefined setting etc will it notify me no matter what’s on the screen at the time ?
I have tried that option. Easy to install via USB but I had to get a APK sent from China as the system one didn’t work and downloaded apps were not compatible.
This also took a while to get a position where it saw all 4 wheels.
All looks good when the app is selected but no indication if it loses connection etc so not really happy with it and don’t think it is adding any value.D1 3Door (White) Long gone

I may be getting somewhere (at last) with Yanav regarding my flickering screen. I think I may have got him to agree to replace the unit if I send my faulty unit back to him and pay the postage. I think this may be the best I can hope for.
However, I do have a few concerns about this:
1. If I remove the faulty unit, will the car still work or will I have to reinstall the original while I'm waiting for a replacement?
2. If I send the faulty unit I may never see anything in return or hear anything from Yanav ever again.
3. They may bodge up the unit I have returned to them and send it back to me only to fail again later.
My biggest concern at the moment is No. 1 as I really don't want to have to reinstall the old system if don't need too.
Any thoughts anyone?

I would advise putting the original back, you may have to wait months for the return of the repaired unit.
It’s only going to add thirty minutes to the job.
I think returning it is your best option despite the risk.
How much is it going to cost you in return postage?

Not sure what the postage will be yet. Haven't got that far. I'll update you when I know.

Have an intereasting one about wireless CarPlay reconnecting
You shut car down leave. Come back few mins later and the CarPlay won’t reconnect. The zlink just sits there saying waiting.2016 D4 Landmark

I’m looking for Tesla style system with the air con screen as a job lot, does anyone have recommendations from any supplier.
And does any of these Tesla style screens have DAB?
Thanks.

First thing to try,go into the zlink app and see if it wants to update.
Make sure your phone is unlocked, and if you have added any new apps to CarPlay, finish setting them up.
Change the zlink settings to manual connect.

You just got to do your research and take your chances. The price seem to be increasing daily.
I have yet to see one with built in dab but the dongles work well and have really good on screen controls.

Found one setup with air con screen at £600 mark but if I can find one from the U.K. I would feel better.
