Could well be the problem, and even if it wasn't it soon would have been if you hadn't found it now. Clean thoroughly (take your time) and put some electrical contact grease on the terminals which will arrest further corrosion. If you haven't got that use petroleum jelly. A Yuasa battery with 5yr warranty is a must for these vehicles

Well it didn’t cure the problem. I’ve left battery on charge overnight. I’m guessing looking at it the tccm is not a serviceable item as it’s riveted together.
Incidentally I noticed whilst looking through things... the car says it’s in off road mode. The switch says it’s in off road mode. The 4x4 info says it’s in normal mode but the iid shows all minus numbers on the height settings ? Is this related ?

Could this be the problem gents ? I’m sure the 2 right hand plugs on the tccm were left with the car so not disconnected. I was just going through the plugs and thought I’d better check them all. Something was nagging the synapses about water getting in this area and corroding plugs. lol and behold the only 2 I haven’t disconnected for the body off were green ! I’ve cleaned it all with contact cleaner and gently cleaned the pins. I’m just praying the module isn’t toast. Any thoughts guys ?
Good find mate, but not if that makes sense
Have done a quick search in advance so u have the links, just in case u need a second hand one

Gary bless you mate. Honestly. I’ve messaged the one seller as he only lives in cinderford which is roughly an hour away. I’m really cutting it fine for my holiday for Monday. talk about emotional roller coaster. Was so elated to get the car fully back together and running after a year of being laid up and now these bloody electrical gremlins.
Mods could you amalgamate this thread to my “discomadness 07my hse” thread if that’s possible as it’s all related now that I couldn’t get to the mot. Jarrod

If I don’t hear back from the 2 I’ve messaged tonight i’ll Ring around the local breakers on the off chance they may have one but I won’t hold my breath.
The hdc fault is bugging me too. Car says off road height, 4x4 info says off road height but shows normal ride height, car is at normal ride height but the iid shows negative numbers. Really stumped on this one.

Hi mate
Could it need re calibrating because you’ve unplugged all the height sensors ???
Alas not 100% if it matters unplugging them just a thought and now also fitting new arms as all the bushings are new

Hiya mate, I’m not sure, I’ve had the height sensors “disconnected” from the suspension arms when I changed them but not electrically I just released the rubbery arms off the suspension arms.
How does one recalibrate it ?Jarrod

Hi buddy
Have u checked ur heights with a tape measure first plse, in normal height
Front 466mm
Rear 485mm
Re calibration is done via the iid and indeed very easy to do
It was just a thought with all new bushings fitted, alas don’t know how bad the old ones were

I’ll do that first thing this morning mate, to be honest they were not bad really but I changed them because the body was off. Jarrod

Indeed a perfect opportunity with the body off and of course having a lot more room to get bigger tools in there
Reminds me I bought a new air suspension compressors silcencer last year and must get round fitting that , along with a new modified spare wheel winch
Plse let us know how ur getting in and what finally sorts the fault codes out
Thks again

So do I ignore the numbers showing on the iid as such and measure the arch to wheel centre and adjust the iid to get that measurement correct ?Jarrod

Hi buddy
I did, just measured the wheels and adjusted accordingly
Firstly, raised the suspension to off road height , then lowered it to normal and drove back and forward a few times then took the measurements with a tape
Think a plus or minus 10mm is acceptable
Also found putting masking tape on the centre of the wheels and marking the centre line with a pen made life easier

Right I’ve had a look but the system is completely unresponsive. The only thing it will do is lower to bump stops. It won’t raise, the selector switch is unresponsive and the iid setting has no effect when instructed to raise or lower. I did just notice the rear left height sensor on my 4x4 info is flashing red. Does this mean it’s out of limits ? Luke a faulty height sensor be the issue ? The hdc fault is saying system unavailable.
Really getting on my nerves now as I would have thought it would tell me if a height sensor was out of limits or something. Jarrod

Hi mate
Wonder if because the transfer ECU is faulty it stopping the system to work properly ??
Know There is that large electrical connector block that sits at the back passenger side , imagine you’ve already checked the height sensors
Would have thought if a height sensor was faulty it would through up an error code
At least once that transfer ecu is fixed that will be one fault fixed and can then go from there
