That's how mine fires up using GSM unit it starts off slow then runs up to full speed in two or three stages.

Didn't take long, and have now got all the bits fitted
Tested by pressing the manual buton on the timer, and the FBH fires up fine, not had chance to configure the GSM unit as yet, will try one night after work
MY only worry was that the FBH seems to have different (speed?) settings. When I pressed the flame button it turned on, and then if I pressed it again, it went up a level, and then again, until pressing it for a forth time, it would turn off
Is this operating correctly?
If it is, at what speed will it operate when switched by the GSM unit? The lowest/first setting I assume?
Is everyone elses like this?
Thanks
Ade

Hi,
I've bought a telestart that I'd like to wire into my FBH, I've tried to follow the link on at the begining of this topic regarding non GSm fitting but it seems to be dead?
Dead link: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic15454.html)
Can anyone help?

After the power has been disconnected I need to re-set my webasto timer [model 1533].
Never done this yet and thing is, I don't have the instructions.
How do I re-set it?
Is it just a simple press of the 'set' button? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

No don't use the timer, just phone to start it.
Pete [BAS] fitted it and found that when power was disconnected that it needed re-setting.
Said this wasn't the norm and probably now on the newer models.

Only need to "reset" it if you want the correct time on it or change the Run time e.g. from 30 mins to 20min.
Well, this applies to the one I have

Phoned it last night and it fired up - without me touching it.
But it didn't fire up a few weeks ago - maybe it wasn't cold enough.

romp,
don't understand that one as the timer talks directly to the Webasto and is not under the temperature contol of the car.
When I installed mine it was in the summer and I can fire it up at any temperature.
Put it down to electronics not playing.
Ian.

I test fired mine a couple of weeks ago before it went in for it's service and it took two goes, so probably just down to not being used for a few months, also on the version of 1533 I have if the power is off to it it needs a couple of presses of the set button to put it into a mode ready to be used. and theeeeennn......???
