Yes, it's dead easy, there's a guide on here. It won't be enabelled, you'll need someone with a Faultmate or a local independent LR garage with an Autologic machine to do that.
Thanks, I did try to find a guide but no joy, I'll try again. I'm pretty sure that Rob at Docklow Land Rover near me has an Autologic so ill try him once I get the buttons sorted.
Cheers

Here's a post mentioning the part numbers you need. Alternatively, they come up here or on Fleabay.

Re: Retro fit Cruise control

Hi i have had the cruise control buttons fitted to my car but they are unable to operate the cruise control, the garage states that they tried to change the software to make it work, but without sucess, does anybody know if it is possible to get the cruise control to function, does it require an extra ECU to be plugged in, or just a change in the software, i feel that i am nearly there but not quite! Does anybody know the solution?
Fitted Cruise control buttons to my 2012 D4 a few weeks ago. They will need enabling in the body control software though to work (CCF and EUCD File).
CCF
Cruise control config: - Speed control fitted
EUCD
Cruise control:- Cruise control
Also a setting in the Jaguar menu for D4 will need to be set for cruise.
In my case I used the Faultmate 2 to do these changes. Several of the members on this site have multi-licence Faultmates operating as a business and might be able to help.

hi
i've retrofited it but CC does not work.
Prior to use autologic (which will cost me ), ive been told (by DISCO MICKEY cheers ) that CC requires fuse no 5 to be in place (in the engine bay box) and as per the wiring diagram this is the correct fuse from the SCM...
Althought this fuse is described to function: petrol - petrol EMS (purge valve, EGR, inlet manifold tune valve), E-box fan do you believe it wont do any harm to the vehicle (mine is Diesel) to install it and see whether CC is functioning

Well I got the cruise buttons from TLO (thanks for the great service again Nick) and fitted in a few mins. Guess what it works ! Just need Autologic to get the light on the dash, but no rush for that.

hello all,
anybody in the Dublin/ leinster region willing to activate the cruise control on my D3 TDV6?
i ll pay for your service. My local stealer claims it can't be done funnily enough, but then again he wanted to replace a complete air compressor at near €1172 inc labour and height sensors rather than just the faulty over pressure valve.
If anyone needing the switches for this I have a unit for sale ....

Just wanted to mention that the IIDTool will activate CC. Depending on how friendly the dealer is, cost will be 2-3 times the dealer visit. But you still have the IIDTool when you are done... 8)

Hi Steve,
You should be able to operatethe IIDTool normally with the CC switchgear installed even if CC is not yet activated: the switchgear sends signals on the bus as soon as it is hooked up and the IIDTool will listen for these signals (the ECM ECU might not - though it seems a number of people have not required activation for CC to work 8) )
You will def be able to use an IIDTool BT with an iOS/Android app. Thes require nothing but the vehicle and the app (and gen 4 bluetooth...) www.gap-diagnostic.com
