Also noticed that as soon as you plug it into my D3 it puts a battery voltage reading into the display. 14.4V would suggest a healthy battery formerly Disco3Ben

Prospeed delivered some big boxes today - so in between rain showers I fitted this lot:
after these pics I fitted some new number plates and then puddle lamps to the front doors.
finally getting a chance to make the most of these brighter evenings formerly Disco3Ben

Was going to do it in stages but think it’s more cost effective to do it all at once.
Thinking of getting the inserts for the sliders as well.D4 MY15 SE TECH

Think it gets to the stage where people enjoy reading but stop commenting on threads like this, keep it up though

Thanks
I never finished connecting the wires for the split charge set up, although I did run them all, so I need to follow your install guide again.
Going to need it in working order soon formerly Disco3Ben

the PS roof rack is really working well, very pleased I installed in when I did.
after finding the melted FBH hose I then realised that the fumes coming from that part of the engine bay were due to a fuel leak evaporating on hot parts of the engine! got that sorted asap.
also new brake braided hoses fitted along with a fresh MOT.
Had Bodsy carry out a mega flush on the gearbox and have to say that the car is much better as a result - also, great service from the man himself.
am continuing to enjoy how versatile this car is - stood on the roof for a job the other day and then the next day picked up a half tonne pallet

Like you, I love how versatile these things are! It's like a one car does all!
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your black rear lights? It's all I need to complete the exterior now!

I have the rear lights info for you:
I bought via eBay last year - cost £284, from Maltings Offroad
current item number: eBay Item No. 251851372970
I think they will offer a further discount if you read the item description.
These come with the relay already soldered in so it's really straightforward plug and play formerly Disco3Ben

what's this hole in the prospeed ladder for?:
I presumed something like a spotlight maybe?
I'm also trying to trace a really annoying rattle coming from under the car - I can hear it when the windows are down, which has been a lot recently with the warm weather and it's driving me crazy!
Looking underneath the car I stumbled across these bizarre moving 'weights' under the rear bumper:
what on earth are these for?!formerly Disco3Ben

They’re disco balls.... officially harmonic dampers. They’re there to provide stability, reduce vibration and make the ride smoother.

thanks for the reply - presumed it must be something like that.
Now if I can only find the lose thing causing the rattle under the car I will be a very happy man!formerly Disco3Ben
