Suez waste collection. They recently got the contract around here. Previously it was Biffa iirc. The first couple of months they ran a when they can be bothered rota for collections which they soon had to stop and actually collect when they were supposed to. But what has really got my goat is they consistently think it acceptable to drag the bags across the front of my car from the pavement to the refuse lorry. I went out and challenged them about it after watching them do it again and just got blank expressions. That’s ok. The cctv recorded the video and audio of it. I will go up to the local council office after work tomorrow and ask them what they plan to do about it. I will add I’m not being a Karen for the sake of it. I’ve got some lovely scratches across the bonnet which I’ve polished out three times now. I thought it was kids doing it. Got my answer as to where they have actually come from now.2006 TdV6 HSE.
A symptom of the lowest-priced bid getting the work and people working on the minimum page who aren't paid enough to give a hoot about anything. The 'refuse collection operatives' round here used to have a choice of three depots at which to transfer the waste from the wagon. The council closed two, meaning they now have to drive most of the way across the county to transfer the waste. This means they haven't got a hope in Hell of keeping to the schedule and what was three-weekly collections are stretching out to nearly four (probably what the council wanted anyway).
The Welsh government now make businesses sort their waste into seven different types. Lots of filling-stations have removed their bins (who wants to sort through those, used nappies and all?). Guess what? The amount of roadside litter has noticeably increased.

FedEx (or how ever they want it spelled today).
On Saturday a package was delivered by an anonymous man in a white (and rust) van. Looking at the label it was an expected package, but it was dispatched on Monday ( that is the one after it was delivered).
Today, Wednesday I had an email warning me that a parcel was out for delivery by FedEx. A few hours later another email arrived saying the package had been "dropped off" at my address. I check the package numbers, they are all the same, I looked to see if a second package had arrived - no. And then an two emails (via flee-bay), one saying the package had been delivered yesterday, and the second saying the package hadn't been delivered as the driver couldn't find the address........ All this correspondence had the same package reference!Rob Smith

I spent a few months driving Freighters (AKA Bin Lorries) for a council contractor - the wages were above average, the council were fussy, very fussy - if the crew missed a bin & it was reported by the householder the crew had to go back (effectively in their own time). Crews were followed to make sure that they left no rubbish on the streets, so it's not all bad.

Our bin collectors are brilliant.
We also only have three bins: recycling, household and glass but there is an option to pay for garden waste, which we do.
Even the dumps are really good. Just turn up. No booking necessary. The only thing you need to do is register a van or trailer for the year.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

People parking in my turning area that I need to get up the drive and then having a go at me when I ask them to move.. so me wanting to turn onto my track is “unreasonable” as they are lost, don’t have a sat nav and are still sat there after 5 minutes of me sitting behind them. Had they actually got out of their car rather than just looking round and ignoring me, apologised then I would have quite happily have given them directions but when the woman starts shouting at me then they can “go away”
Sometimes I don’t think it’s even worth leaving the house I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I deffo don’t miss that, well similar but with piggin tour buses. Soooooooooo glad that’s no longer an issue.
So ... on the face of it, this looks good for smaller clubs:
Leicester have won an appeal against a decision that could have led to a points deduction for an alleged breach of Premier League Profit and Sustainability rules.
An independent panel found the Premier League did not have the jurisdiction to punish the club.
But does that mean the cheating scumbags in the Blue half of Manchester will never face the points deductions that Everton and Burnley got for infringements a 1000th of the scale of MCFC ?

It doesn’t apply to Citeh. Leicester’s get-out was because they were outside of the Premier League when the charge was laid.
I presume your polemic description of the light blue team means that you support the other big club ……. Stockport County An ex-Disco3 / FFRR owner ......

But is Leicester 'getting away with it' a good thing? If they committed offences that breached rules and only 'won' as they were relegated away from the legislators it doesn't mean an offence wasn't committed?
Come the end of the season and Leicester either avoid relegation or win promotion and there will be noise and upset at other clubs (and lets face it business losses is what we are really talking about).
It could be argued that Leicester going back up via play-off at end of this season is the biggest cash generator going and will be 'great business'; overspent in Premier, got players with net value in their squad because of it, parachute payment for going down and then the richest play-off game in the world of football to go back up will see them good for a few more years.......
(and I do like Leicester as a neutral)

Lawyers!
'Hi, can you clarify your latest charges please'
'Yes, but we'll need to invoice you for the details'
'Sorry, but before I pay you I need to understand what you've done'
'Happy to send you a breakdown, but the fee will be £475 +vat'
'All I need is a summary, surely you can just send me that?'
'Yes we can, but would need to add the fee to you latest invoice'
'I'm not happy with that, I won't be paying your latest invoice until I have the breakdown'
'Sorry to hear that Mr. M. Just for clarification we will no progress any further work on the case until the latest invoice is paid. However, we will now need an up front fee of £5000, in addition to the outstanding fees, because you are now late paying your last invoice'.

Hi mate
Shame u couldn’t just hook a tow rope to them and drag them down the road
Indeed as they say manners cost nothing , just seems many think they own the roads with bad attitudes
Lost count of people having a right go at each other over parking spaces
Could always fit a big air horn on the landy and see how high u can make them jump 🤣
Setting off for a well-deserved few days in Devon, just checked the weather forecast...
