Cooking things I don’t particularly like for other people! Bacon, Spagbog, Curry, Vegan food if you can call it that, Pasta in any shape or form, the list is endless.
On the up side, I got rid of the last of the kids bar one to Uni today! Life is looking up and at least the pilfering will stop until May.

The "40mphers"...
I followed one today:
From a set of traffic lights at 40 mph in a 40 mph speed limit. No problem.
Enter a national speed limit zone (very clearly marked), they speed up to 41mph and continue on their way.
Be reasonable. Might have been some poor whose car was stuck in limp mode.....Like me

I would be "generous" if they they didn't travel at a constant 40mph even in 30mph area.Rob Smith

Similar issue yesterday. Parked up in supermarket car park. A couple of spaces over a women sitting in her car eating, opened her door and dropped the packaging then went back to looking at her phone. I tapped on her window and pointed to her rubbish, she seemed surprised it was there! Then asked "is there a bin nearby" so I pointed to the bin and walked away.

Moo, she’s worse than I, which you might find it difficult to believe.
LT, the interest rates weren’t dropping with the institutions I was looking at, mind you there seems to be a long lag. I suppose as you get older, you look more at the savings rates which apply than the mortgage rates that don’t.

Whilst getting the txt does mean I can nip out before or after the delivery slot (assuming I trust them enough to stick to it ), only getting this the night before the delivery means I can't plan my day properly and if something had come up in the 10 days since I asked for the delivery, I have no means of asking them to change the slot.

And as the 84g of NHS-goodness is
1. worth over £6000
2. regarded as toxic
I have to be here, they won't leave it with neighbours or in a "safe place"
And, sadly, I can only get it through Lloyds Pharmacy ... if my local chemist could supply it, it would be sooooo much easier.

No Reply texts and emails, especially when they don't give a separate address to respond to.
Scottish Power sent one telling me they were increasing my DD, no option to respond despite me being more than 2 months in credit. Turned it back down in the App and if they hike it up again I will cancel the DD, see if that makes them actually talk to me.
Recently had an issue with LR, no email addresses at all on their web site, just social media, I don't do XTwitFaceache.
The only address I could find was for the CEO, Mardell. Soon got a response from that one A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.
However, despite the advice note stating "syringes 50/60ml", the ones they sent are all 10ml.
But it turns out they can deliver the correct ones next Tuesday - which would have been better for me - whereas when I ordered everything last week, they "can only do Fridays".

I have noticed more and more that people just cannot seem to drive on their own side of the road so they straddle the white line. Yes, I accept people can/do avoid potholes but there are none on this stretch of the road. So annoying.
wit today, on a lane where there was plenty of room for both of us on our own side of the road, decided he wanted my side as well. As a result of avoiding him, I now have a love a lovely hedgerow stripe down my nearside. Just hoping it will buff out.Cheers,
Jez
