We are now very close to releasing CCF edit capabilities on our system.
While i do not believe that this directly provides height adjust capabilities in the EAS, it does provide entire vehicle configuration including a lot of related stuff such as wheel dimensions an speedo offsets that are interesting to the experimenter and these could be manipulated.
I have also now done some modifications / calibrations to EAS heights on the Sport which is the same chassis / technology.
regards

In one of the recent 4x4 Action mags there was an article on a guy in Perth who altered his D3 to have 6 height settings. 1 he used with his normal tyres on, the other 3 were for his super swampers.
The business name in the article was Green Oval Experience - soI'm assuming he managed to change something that has to be close to what we need? 2012 MY13 SDV6 SE D4 Ipanema Sand with Almond leather

One other question, does anyone knowwhat the largest tire size is you can get onto a Discovery 3? I mean hieght and wide without wreeking havoc on the wheel wells and or other systems.
Cheers and keep up the work.

From my own experience 265/70/17 , 07 MY ( dont quote me) onwards might have some minor rubbing issues in normal height.

Gordon just uses the shortened rods and swaps them. 4x4 Action did not exactly understand what was in volved or what Gordon told them.
Gave the system a good workout on a rough track yesterday including going too fast over a drainage ditch and hump. Bottomed out the front right suspension when I came down.
No faults showed up at all.
Handling though felt like a Tojo. but quite managable.
Have a slow leak in the high pressure line somewhere, drains the air tank overnight.
Will be searching in the next couple of days. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Not quite - my rods are designed to co-exist with the original ones, so you only swap over the top connection (the bottom ones are a real pain to remove).

CaverD3 said the Disco handeling felt like a Tojo Not possible
There is nothing you could do to a D3 that would make it handel like a piece of agricultural machenery
Seriously my one before it was cremated handled quite well lifted on he shortened rods at speed. I had tried it up to 100 km/hr and it was fine.
Hope the adjustable rod thingeys are working well
Cheers

What I meant was it handled fine just more on the soggy side than normal. Not tight like a D3 should be when pushed. I wouldn't want the be tearing along forestry tracks with it raised. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I agree with CaverD3 about the "spongy" feeling whilst elevated. Have done about 1500km while elevated - about 1/3 at 100 km/hr, but no ill effects yet. Suspect it has something to do with the higher centre-of-gravity as well as having extended suspension effect. I found it a helpful constant reminder that the D3 cannot possibly be as stable when elevated and drive more like a truck. Final remote shotened rods system final design complete new actuator connectors ready to go. Will also have nitto fitting for tyres. Hoping for a mention of it in overlander. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Caver
Perhaps you could start a new thread with details on final product.
Hopefully Martin and Co. won't have problems with 'commercial' tones.
I would be interested as it appears a Software fix seems a long way off - when it is finally done the Med Mob (after all the waffle) might call it 'Aroundtuit Height Adjuster' 'S' TDV6, Air suspension, Terrain Response, Active rear diff, Safari Snorkel, Opposite Lock rear wheel carrier, OL drawer system, Cargo Barrier, Dual batteries with Rotronics isolator, GME 3440 UHF. Codan NGT HF, Asus UMPC running TrackRanger. Cooper LT245/70R17 STTs when off-road. Tow Ultimate off-road camper.
