I would very be interested in a simple control (either solenoid operation or software) where I could driva at +50mm to save this sort of damage.

The chap who is looking into this is away , Cape York , lucky b r , not back yet, had hoped he would have got a little further as I would have liked to have this for my trip, just have to settle for the shortened suspension joining links this time

As per Caver they are looking for an idiot to test it . I'm sure that you are more than qualified for the position

I missed that.
Could have nominated you, but you would have been over qualified. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

Here in Southern Spain, there would be a few of us interested in this kit if it eventually comes into production.
From experience it's not must fun being stuck in the middle of Erg Cheggaga dunes with two D3s sitting on their bellies.
Being towed out by Toyotas was humiliating but the 1000km back-breaking drive home on the bump stops was even worse!
We're watching this space closely

I've found it's better to do thick sand in normal mode . That way if you bog down you can raise car to help get it unstuck easier . My main requirement for the raised suspension is so that you can drive rutted roads at a higher speed

That's the main reason in oz for the system.
Sand is the other reason.
Handles remarkably well in raised mode, still better than a Tojo.
Just needs some abuse.
I know there is some interest in the system, but the only way to keep costs down is DIY install.
I'll start a new tread when I have something definite.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Great work and please keep it going
Hi all, New to the site and want to commend you in your efforts. from Perth at least the last 13 yars and noiw in the states. I knew the Aussies would be on it. In the states they just don't 4x4 the same way or with the same needs, I'm not knocking the 4x4 scene here though - so don't get mad.
I am also interested in the suspension settings and looking for an answer and or help. How to avoid the auto lowering at such a low speed and how to get it into and keep it in the super extended mode, with out having to demonstrate no traction or having it high centered. Any anszwers please pass them my way.
One other question, does anyone knowwhat the largest tire size is you can get onto a Discovery 3? I mean hieght and wide without wreeking havoc on the wheel wells and or other systems. There's a great rock crawl track - the rubicon trail and to have 31" tires is pretty much the minimum preferably 12" wide (although that wide is pretty much out of the question.
