New front and back diff oil, transfer box oil, gearbox flush and filter and front discs and pad. That's a light wallet on the way home
Hi,
where did you get the flush and filter done - and could you give me an idea of the cost too please. This has been something i've mulled over quite a lot, as i seem to read many threads about people having their gearbox flushed but filter changes don't seem to get much of a mention
A local garage in Preston (1 guy in a lockup), the guy has been fixing my cars for years and owns a FFRR supercharged so he knows his way around a LR.
There are many debates as to flush - double flush etc I wont go over here, I had new filter, dropped 5l from sump, drove it down the road, then dumped another 5l from sump, people will debate I have "contaminated" oil left, but it has a new filter.
Filter was £105, fluid was £8 a litre and labour was £125, labour that included both diff oils and trans box oil change too05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Swapped the lower parts of seats at front between driver and near side. This should make the driver cushion last for another 170,000 miles Easy job when you know what you are looking for. I took photos and noted a few gotchas that can make it more difficult than it should be. I also swapped passenger pressure sensor over. When I get time I will do a write up.2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Thrown over a ton and a half of sandstone paving in it over a few trips, covering it in soil and spiders in the process, then hoovered it. I love these cars for the amount of things you can do with them.2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

I was going to do this, did you use a small socket with T40 bit on the end? I only have sockets down to 1/2" drive.05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Yes it was T40 on socket. Of the two front bolts, one bolt is easy but other above the junction box is difficult with box in position. I used an Allen key to press in tab on box to then allow box to slide out of way. I also swapped clips and the seat sensor on the passenger seat. With a guide it's no more than an hour and for aging D3 well worth the effort.2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Just off eBay - less than £20 for the lot.
Have some spares for the interior too.
