That should be a new thread...."what did somebody else do to your Discovery today"....bloody annoying,I've got one too,but as it was one of the wife's friends, she fessed up...."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I use a trusted friend who still works at a previous employer's. I can PM you there name if you like?
PS if you dropped in on your way past mine today, you would have found me very grumpy indeed.
Yes please, i'll keep an eye on my inbox. My disco is due an MOT in June it will be the first one I've put it through. I always look if your disco is there but unfortunately I did not pass through yesterday, what else do you have planned to do?

You have PM Jamie
I've got to change the offside lower arm, track rod and rod end this weekend. My Mot tester says that the rear wishbone bushes are fine, however I can hear a knock over bumps from the anti roll bar, so I've those to do as well. Annoyingly he found that the propshaft centre bearing his failed. I've just ordered a new propshaft, so I've that to do too. I'm hoping that will be the end of the spending spree this year, once I've had the suspension alignment done.
Next year will be a full brake refresh with copper solid pipe lines and stainless flexible sections.Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Today I changed the offside front lower wishbone, track rod and rod end. The job was completed in 2.5 hours as everything came apart easily, thankfully a complete contrast to the nearside that I did Thursday. The inboard bolts on the offside didn't have a speck of grease on them, but came out with a couple of decent clouds with my trusty 3 Lb club hammer. The rest was plain sailing.
Here's the pictures of today's work.

After my not-so-local main stealer performed a VHC on my D3 and gave it the all clear, today I replaced my rear propshaft as the bearing/housing was non-existent. Shocked and stunned they missed it !
