Fixed the leaky AC, finally. The guy at the shop called me up this morning, stating that they found out what was wrong with my FBH. I replied that I already knew, and that the deal was for them to fix the AC
We agreed that not many people fix their AC this time of year 🎄

Another 10k km driven, so oil and filter change. Used Mannol 7707 like the last time and a Mann filter.
Checked the brake pads (42k km driven since last change) but they were in good shape front and back. Readjusted the EPB and did the bedding in procedure.
All is good now, knock knock

I changed the battery last winter because of this - it's the volts dropping- but I'm going to have a look at the earth straps this time.
Hey, it's a Land Rover!.

Spent money
Took the car to JAS at Pocklington for a simple swap 20” rims for the 19” Duratracs and new TPMS valves fitting, balance and 4 wheel tracking, simples, nah
1 tyre worn on edge, outside of tolerance to track correctly, fitted 2 new, kept 2 nearly new, sacrificed existing spare and replaced with 3rd best.
Then the steering arms had to be replaced, eventually all good and car is running sweet, pounds lighter but perma grin restored
Excellent service from Joe and Steff

FBH now works after it locked out due to running the fuel tank low this week. Cleared codes with Autel AP200, did the fuse out reset method too. Made sure auto climate control was on.
Interestingly it’s still original fit as the fuel line has the crimp type clamps on it.
Well chuffed and toasty

Ringing the changes
Sold the D3
Waiting for the D4 to be delivered Tuesday A 2016 Zambesi Landmark
Why is the DVLA so BORING, they call it orangeA visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.
Got stuck in the mud I may have got it out if I had been a bit more aggressive with the throttle, but as I was on someone else's property (with permission) and others were around I asked for a tow out. It had sunk in after being parked all afternoon.
Cross Climate 2 tyres are not a good option on muddy grass, but I very rarely leave paved roads.

Steve

Took my D4 to my Indy to get some nasty, garish tree sliders removed. Left them there as scrap…. I’m a Disco 4 believer. What a vehicle!

Decided to fit the replacement spare wheel carrier, after me braking the other one, that and sort out the rear drivers side door to go from not opening to opening .
Nice easy day with the black beastie of mine for a change.
