Finally fixed the EPB over the weekend. Followed Disco Mikeys excellent guide to unjam it, and after some rebuilding and adjusting, I now have a dashboard free from warning lights again. Followed up the next day with getting the summer wheels back on, lubricating the winch for the spare and giving the car a good coating with Fluidfilm all over the chassis.

Replaced inner and outer brake lines as well as the pipe between them. And the centre pipe for the AC. It can be done with the tank in place, as long as you dont use the centre attaching clamp for the pipes. My front and rear clamps had rusted off, so they'll be re-attached once I can get in there with an angled drill to make some new holes.
MOT coming up soon, keep your fingers crossed for me

Replaced drivers side front brake calliper. Smoke from the wheel arch last night gave it away that it had seized
Start to finish in under an hour, the most annoying thing was that due to needing the car this afternoon, I had to go and get one from the local parts supplier (£117) instead of ordering from Maltings (£50). Still better than getting garage to do it though, checked local prices…£270!
Update, as is typical, 24 hours after replacing front right calliper….rear left has now seized up! Ordered that and front left as that’s the last one. The rear right went at Christmas so guessing they have 15 years programmed in for self destruct.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

Replaced a damaged key fob with a nice new genuine one, swapped the internals and all working (well after I'd remembered to remove the sticky label from the front of the battery ).
It did require the old pin mounts to be cut off and then removed, so a blob of superglue on the new ones will hold it in place as they are pretty difficult to get heat onto in situ.I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

EGR delete completed. Getting the butterfly out was a pig, ended up removing the box completely to get a safe leverage on the end of the spindle to get the butterfly vane moving A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Yesterday I fitted the roof rails! Didn't need the tap set I bought as the plastic bungs flicked out with a little persuasion from a Stanley knife! Just need to wait for the front covers to arrive from China! Then get on with the jobs I fitted it for!Discovery 1 3dr 200tdi
