Installed New Horns
Straight forward job. Only fiddly bit was juggling the low note horn out and new one in. You must undo and move the coolant reservoir aside and bend the original horn bracket to do it.
Fiamm only sent me one Land Rover connector so I've got to wait for another before replacing the high note. Land Rover Connector marked in photo.

Re-kitted the dryer in the air compressor after nearly 8 months of the dreaded bong coming up after start-up!
PITA to get the corroded bolts off for the cover and then the bracket!
Otherwise it all went well.
I upgraded the cover for the aluminium one that was supplied in the kit.

Hi, I just added one small can of R134A through my AC manifold gauge set, I got a pack of 5 from Ebay ages ago. Unfortunately on my Disco after a few days it seems to have gone hot again, so maybe I have a leak ? When I can be bothered I'll take a look around the condenser as this seems to be the favorite place for leaks to occur.
Thanks

Got the car serviced (6th year ) at an independent recommended on this forum. Also got a piece of warranty work sorted. How nice to have everything just right after a service. This is my first service outside the 5 yr service plan I purchased when purchasing the car. Adblue done (2 times this has been missed by 2 main dealers), oil filled to correct level (2 times oil has been overfilled), brake fluid change included in the service not an extra, new battery in key fob (not included in main dealer services), engine oil flush and fuel system clean included and time taken by the person that did some of the work and owns the garage to explain it all, including talking me through the oil used (which I'd never heard of - Morris lubricants)- and showing me the manufacturers certifications that meet the car's requirements. Obviously cheaper than a main dealer, so quids in too. They even updated the online service history.
I understand, from members of this forum, that an independent service history has good credibility when it comes to selling the car, so hoping that works for me. One final thing they included is a reminder that it is the belts service next year, so expect to be back there for that one. Really good to find someone you trust. Had to book 10 weeks in advance though !Gary

I might take a closer look at mine, now Iβve seen that.
I am presently changing the o/s rear wheel bearing, which was snagged on the MOT for excessive play. Having taken it all apart I canβt really fault the bearing, so wish I had re-torqued the driveshaft nut first!Simon.
