Managed to program a second key without everything going wrong, which has greatly reduced my nervousness about locking the key in the car!
Would take a picture, but you know, not really much to see!

Stripped out the drivers seat base & replaced the foam cushion with a new one, followed the excellent "how to" guide on this site. Its a real easy job as long as you get the correct hog rings and pliers to fasten the seat cover back down.
I also had to re-weld the seat base captive nut fixings as they had stress fractured and cracked causing the seat base to move slightly on it's fixings.
Whole job took no more than 2hrs start to finish including the welding/grinding the base fixings.2005 TDV6 SE Auto

Went from looking really mismatched (had it a week and came with D4 rear lights - clear, and the black surround D4 type grill), to a slightly better look.
Could not find a Lugano Teal original grill and thought de-tango would work. Got the Powerfuluk kit but decided not to add the lower tick to the headlights. May still do that. Now to blacken the black around the windows/pillars.
Tried the near side first. Managed to get the rear (Sheared boot in captive nut)and middle bracket off but Front one is a mess.
Rounded and rusted out bolts, I don’t have a tap or die set or id drill it. and I’ve just been quoted £60 an hour from my Indy.
I may just use some sticky back plastic and blue tac2010 D4 XS

Sunday morning spent adding these beauties to the D3 - Prospeed sliders and compressor guard - they are hardly noticable so dont detract from the G4 edition and offer the best protect for the cills and the all too vulnerable compressor!

it doesn't show the DRL's very well when you take a picture due to the refresh rate making the lights look as though they are flickering.
just got to get a new grill badge for it2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Plates were looking old and worn out so replacing with some pressed metal plates.
The amount of tape and screws holding the old ones on was a little over the top.

While I was at it the rear end got de-badged as they were all worn and different colours.

well before the rain came in today i managed to fit my new prospeed ladder
Was abit of a fight though as the torq bolts had seized in and pulled out the thread from the rear door handle while trying to undo them
When the rain came though retreated to the garage and decided to paint the front of my spotlights just to make them a little different.
Before
After
Quite happy with the results and its the same orange i painted my sump guard. Just need some sunny days now while im home and the front end rebuild can begin Discovery 3 - Black SE with HSE upgrade

Decided to have a stab at the rear anti roll bars, jacked her up, stands under, wheel off cleaned area with wire brush then attempted to undo the bolts and failed so I've put plenty of penetrating oil top and bottom and will let some other silly do them
