Personally, I'm expecting the D5 to look like a taller RR-Sport,
My thinking is
D Sport == less raked profile RR Evoke with wider C pillars
D 5 == less raked profile RR Sport with wider C pillars
Disco does seem somewhat dated now when compared side-by side. (gotta love it though )Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

You might no see it but lets think, they could be/are testing running gear for it under the shell of ï¸an old camo car.... Maybe the RR/RRS pre production or something

I just don't believe in "dated" as far as design goes; there's simply good design and poor design. The D4 is a good design. I won't pass comment on the newer stuff
Okay, I'll comment just a little bit - good design usually involves having a good view out of the car, especially for those condemned to sit in the back!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

I think a better way of putting it would be "room for improvement". It's a good design but things could be changed To make it ï¸an "excellent design" 2009 Discovery 3 HSE - Gone
2019 Anniversary Edition D5 - Going
2019 HSE D5 - coming!

yes, "dated" is a very subjective term ... how about" not in keeping with the new JLR brand design language" or other such cobblers
I think the D3/4 design is better described as classic or iconic. I am very much still a fan
I do quite like the new style, the RR sport looks great to me and would not be too upset if the d5 were similar but - and I 100% take your point - practicality needs to e a driving factor or the whole point of the Disco becomes lost (IMHO)Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

Personally I think the cheap plastic at the back of the current models is horrid.
