Or are just choosing to ignore it. Would probably take a fatal crash involving a D3 shutting down and being tail-ended by a truck for LR to be interested, just look at their response to EPB issues. Dealers have no idea, they are just changing parts pointed to by the fault code, whether that is the issue or not. I've been looking back in this forum and it goes back years with no resolution. I haven't seen anything that shows LR trying to address the issues, the dealers are working in the dark (and no doubt doing their best).

LR if you want a car to pull apart & try and diagnose it you can have mine, as long as you put it together again. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Hi DSL,

What makes you think that the numpties in Solihull could get it right the second time? LR are so arrogant (and sadly, selling their unreliable vehicles at the moment) that they couldn't care less about the end user!

Good luck with the new BMW. I'm certainly on my last LR product. Strange though, my father is on his second Freelander (2002 TD4 and a 2009 FL2 HSE), and neither has been a spot of bother. It makes you wonder whether it's where they're thrown together that's the problem.

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3

Seem to be having the same sort of problem with my 05 D3 manual. Happend twice on the same bit of road where engine fault light came up when taking my foot of the power in 4th after overtaking. Everything slowed down to about 30mph but when I slowed down to a crawl to turn of the road to do a restart it seemed to cure itself and power came back. Any clued?

United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3

Sorry forgot the add that I have had all 4 lower arms replaced and had the tracking/toe reset about 200 miles ago. Been doing motorway miles since then apart from today when the faults came up going round country A roads.

Dont know if this makes any difference, I.e. sensor problems.
