I think JLR just missed a very important PR opportunity/milestone. The whole thing was really cheap and cheesy and did nothing to really focus people on what they are about moving forward. Yes we all know the history, the great vehicles, that's why we all frequent sites like this and 'had' a long term brand loyalty, but it's the future we were interested in not the glory days. I saw nothing to excite me about the direction of travel, no new technology, powertrains, brand lines, not a shred.
Total own-goal JLR

It was really really disappointing, even the production was poor given it was uploaded some hours after filming the sound quality and choppy, ill timed cuts were horrid.
As others say a huge opportunity missed, even without a full reveal the New Defender could have been scene set or teased a little. I know they are worried about copy catting but it could have been done cleverly to give without seeing the whole thing.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Obviously waiting for the 75th anniversary to drop hints about the new Deafner.

No, as I'll just have to say to myself "I told you so".
I've almost given up hope of the new Deafner, my thoughts are to keep the D4 for as long as possible or buy a used FFRR with the SDV8 engine for c. £55k. I've still got nearly a year of full warranty on the D4, to mull it over.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
