There are detailed dimensions on the eBay link and with it being tapered I believe it could be set back quite a way back in the slot above the plate. Of course, for most D3s this would be a bad slot to cover, but clearly that does not apply to yours.

I don't think it would, especially if you have the bumper plate holder (see my pics on this thread) also I wouldn't want to block the intercooler, but it didn't cross my mind mounting it there! I think it could be integrated into the front grill if you could chop your grill! Mine is flush with the front bumper and matches the curve perfectly.

Thank you, you tilt the light bar using the Allen key screws either end (takes 2 seconds) then the grill will come straight out!Discovery 3 SE, 275/65r18 STTs

Light bar's are awesome.
Also very handy when oncoming traffic refuses to turn the high beams off...
What's the wattage and lumems of yours. Mine is 288w and 24,000 lumems.
It's also 50 inches.

Wow that's impressive! I wanted the 42" 240w but the space I has only allowed for a 32" 188w 14,400 lumens and it's a curved bar!Discovery 3 SE, 275/65r18 STTs

Enjoy! It's pretty easy to fit where I put mine! Sit it in place and get someone to hold it still while you use a centre punch to mark the spot for the drill. Pull the front of the arches back enough to get the the bumper end screw, then lights and grill off, I had to take my RLD sump plate off also, bumper off, drill the two holes and mount the brackets then test mount the bumper with the bar in place, the put it all back together! Wiring is a doddle, I used a crimp kit from screw fix and removed the loom to light bar fitting and crimped it all properly!
Cheers

Now that light bar would look even better replacing the centre spar on the grill.
Particularly on a white or silver D3.
So, who's going to be first to offer this conversion ...... Narpy ....... Beanie
Great job btw N44CKL ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
