That looks neat, did you fab the plates your self or did you get them somewhere? Would be very interested as my bar sits proud of the grill at present and I would prefer it flush
Thanks Doodahoops for the light bar which is now fitted to my Disco... I can ask my mate whom made the brackets for me and let you know what he says.
Its a really simple and easy fit. As you can see they are rivted on and the light sits neatly into the grill. I'll add a picture later into my gallery when I finish work.

It is mounted on the aluminium frame in front of the rads- drilled and tapped from the outside then two triangular ally plates with a bit of a dogleg in them stick forward to bolt the light bar on. The front of the lightbar is about where the front of the grille would have been so it doesn't stick out.
Had to trim the heatsink on the lightbar a touch at the ends to go "inside " the frame, and had to remove the air deflectors inside the grille and cut out the centre spar. 'Cos I know I'm clumsy I bought an EBay grille to butcher and paint black.
If you cut the spar out at its bottom face and at the lower face of the upper spar then the grille has enough clearance to fit/ remove as usual with no obstruction (e.g to change bulbs etc.) At least half the effort was making good and spraying the grille.
Once the headlamps are out it is 2 minutes to unbolt the lightbar, unplug it and pop the original grille back.
I put the inside switch where the sunroof one would go ( it is an XS so no opening roof) in theory it can all come out with no evidence save four tapped holes that are well hidden by the grille if needs be or when selling.
