LR never did resolve mine - after several "attempts". gave up asking.
I am wondering is anyone has tried to fashion their own fix for this ? Perhaps adding some rubber strip to the plastic lugs that keep coming loose ? Something like that could possibly stop them popping out so easily ?Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

Thanks
Thanks everyone for your input. I realised that the the dealer was feeding me a bit of BS when I took the damaged bit in to show them and one of the lasses at the service reception desk saw it, recognised what it was and said that quite a few other customers had lost theirs too! Then the Service Manager proceeded to tell me they hadn't ever seen this before. I asked to see someone from customer services and he said he was it. I told him I needed to see someone else who knew something about customer service.
How can I include a link to this thread into a PM to Pete (who is now Hannah, apparently as Pete has moved onto a new project)?
Cheers

I put a small piece of self amalgamating tape around each top lug (stretched it round once) fit the bottom lugs in place then 'clip' the top ones back in - so far it hasn't moved but I ain't been fording any rivers!

I took my cover off, and fitted a sump guard. Haven't had any problem with the cover since.

From what I hear, its a MY14 -15 problem. The one I looked at in the showroom which I took to be a MY16 had the cover firmly attached. The one that fell off mine was grey.

Had my first service yesterday and the dealer looked at front Tow cover again, They reported it had soft clips and replaced it with a new one?
Well been across 2 fields through a ford and 40 miles up the motorway in heavy rain and shock horror it has not unclipped
This is the first day since taking delivery that it has stayed clipped in so maybe they have a better quality one coming through the spares system MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

MY11 D4 Fuji White Landmark (Gone)
MY11 D4 Silver Commercial(Gone)
Isuzu Utah D Max(Gone)
John Deere Gator HPX
Nifty Lift HR12
Kubota KX41-2
Is this what keeps 'self unclipping' itself on the front of ours?
Picked up new d4 end of July when I arrived home checked car over, towing eye cover looked the same , removed it and refitted it no problems now. on first look I thought the plastic was broken , no, poorly fitted by land rover.
